I recently had the pleasure of shopping at Plato's Closet Liberty, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who were eager to assist me.

The worst Plato's Closet! Rude Employees! Do not waste your time here! That's all you will do is waste your time. They are very picky & cheap on what they buy. It doesn't matter if their brand new or name brand clothes. They low ball and try to give you dirt cheap for items that we know will make a great sale. Better off selling your items on Marketplace! Waste of time and don't get me started on the items they are trying to sell on their racks! Business will keep losing, they need to step it up a few notche's or they will continue to get bad ratings & reviews!

I get confused on how sometimes they take almost all my stuff and sometimes barely anything when all my items are in great shape and not very old. Then, what really confuses me is when you see how old and used things are on the racks. It’s very confusing.

Yes, I was in the store for 2 hours looking. Yes, I did try on about 20 items and decided against half of them. So I probably wasn’t their favorite customer, but majority of the time I was the only customer in the store. Not once did I get a “Are you doing okay? ” Or “Can I help you find anything? ”. However, I did get dirty looks, annoyed attitudes, and even overheard rude comments made about me while I was in the dressing room.

So yeah, I won’t be back. Thanks for the terrible experience.

I was pretty disappointed they didn’t buy any of the clothes I brought to sell. It was all name brand clothing in excellent condition! If you’re not going to buy most of the things people bring to sell to you, then you should at least have a list of guidelines or something to go by… that way people know what to bring and what not to bring. It’s a waste of time when you get turned away!

Took two baskets of clothes, numerous shoes, jewelry, purses, including things with tags. Brands such as Nike, billabong, fashionova, ugg, Aeropostale and American Eagle, pink, and SHEIN. And not one item bought. I checked the website to see what they are “currently buying” before I came. There are signs through the store saying they’re buying shoes. It’s a waste of time to sort through clothes, drive there just to be turned away time after time.

Very biased/prejudice towards buyers. I walked in trying to sell a mk purse and a coach purse they turned me down. I am a woman of color and I was wearing my Snuggie and bonnet. I sent in my bestfriend an hour later the same buyers were there, I sent her in (she's a young white female) to try to sell the same items to the same buyers they offered her $50.16 for MY items. This isn't the first time I've encountered this issue with Plato's

The management went WAY above and beyond helping me and my husband with a situation with our sale. They are so kind and professional at this location!

I’ve been to this Platos closet 20+ times and I’ve never experienced worse customer service than I do every time I’m at this location. The location on North Oak is amazing and I’d highly recommend them but the incompetent high school girls that work at this store don’t know anything about customer service or hard work.
I came in and had three different government issued IDs and the lady still try to argue with me even though I have used them all at different locations numerous of times.

I love this store so much! The prices are cheap considering the brand and such and all prices are fair. The pictures don't do it justice, it is trendy, has amazing clothes and for wonderful prices. I go here at least monthly and there is always something new! My favorite local shop, 10/10.

Took stuff in to sell and maybe 5 min later they had an offer. They didn't even go through one of the containers. I know for sure because it was still exactly how I had packed it. All they did was take the first 2 items off the top of the 1st container and that was all. Didn't even look through it either.

The liberty Plato’s location is my favorite in the area! I brought in a few items to sell and I left happy! While I waited, I looked around and they have a really good selection on items. The girls up front were nice and friendly when I came in! 10/10

They only took the items that had price tags on them. I will give this place more stars if their employees were communicative. In my experience, I was not provided enough information on how their process works or what they are looking for when they do make the purchases, or why they do not purchase certain items. The interactions are always brief and not engaging and I don’t feel welcomed. It’s almost like a guessing game every time trying to figure out what they may or may not buy. Throughly convinced that the items they choose from you are based on the opinion of the person sorting the items. They suggested Clothes Mentor, and honestly; my experience there was so much more pleasant.

Was my first time in store and found the staff really friendly. Was pretty clean, organized, and most things aren't too over priced. Only flaws were most clothes in the women's section are small/medium, and since there's Shein/Forever 21 clothes they might be cheap material. Will definitely come in the future!

Only thing I would say is that to please not take clothes with dog hair. There’s been multiple times I’ve came in and wanted something and it had dog hair all over it. Other than that it’s great!:)

I drove 30 minutes to sell clothes for them to take 1 pair of shorts for $2.80. I take very good care of my things. Plato's just isn't what they used to be. They want clothes that you've just purchased, worn once and decide to sell for 1/3 of the price you paid for it. I think today was my last day trying. Poshmark or just giving them to Goodwill would make me feel better.
