Platte County Sheriff's Office, Platte City MO

Spotted a sheriff from this department speeding and tailgating drivers on I-70 near Warren county. Vehicle 2679. Maybe the people upholding our laws should be the first to follow them

Road pirates who love to write tickets and exploit citizens for victimless crimes. The general garbage works here like most “law enforcement” organizations, personnel are out of standard and of below average intelligence, most likely why they don’t have real jobs that add value to society.

My experience is that this office is corrupt and the judges and prosecution are even worse than the cops.

Wow tried to report a large ladder in the road on 435 and the lady was giving me a hard time because I didn’t have a mile marker and how there is no way to dispatch and officer without a location. I explained to her the closest exit and the exact bridge and direction of the freeway but she was stuck on a mile marker. No attempt to look it up or piece anything together. Good thing I wasn’t in an accident or dying because I’d be in big trouble. If a citizen is reporting something that could save someone some issues you’d think there would be every effort to make it happen instead of every effort to make it difficult. Guess I won’t be doing that again.

Every encounter that I have had with the Platte County Sherriff's dept.has been met with a level of courteousness that I have never experienced when dealing with law enforcement. Oh and BTW - the PERSON -who left the comment about the vehicle lights not being on in the rain. You are incredibly inconsiderate and dangerous. What a jerk

Officer A Moore gave me a ticket for not having lights on while it was raining. Get a real job.

Just had a conversation with Deputy Knabe and he was responding to an issue that I won’t dive into but this Deputy was an absolute professional. He could have easily gaffed the situation off but addressed it thoroughly, patiently, and professionally.

Got arested by them super respectful officer roomy new explorer he even made sure the cuffs werent too tight overall if your going to choose an arresting agency highly recomend these guys.
