Met friends here for lunch, a busy place and they made room for us. Great food and super service!

Solid Tex-Mex. Great margaritas. Enjoyed it quite a bit! Look forward to trying it again on a less busy evening.

Loved this place for a lifetime. It's at least a forty minute drive for me, but I still make the trek whenever I get the craving for great, very ample servings of authentic mexican food.

Haven't been there in yrs. Today myself n daughter stopped in to have lunch. Angela was our server n was fantastic. Our food was on spot on, then I needed to use the ladies room. All you could smell was sewer n it was past fowl. So glad I ate befor going in there because I would of left.

New in town and a couple folks recommended this place. I really don't understand why people love it here so much as it was possibly the worst Mexican food I've ever had. My friend was equally unimpressed. The red salsa tasted like it came straight out of a tomato can. The portions were huge but covered in so much shredded cheese you couldn't even see the main dish. I tried a variety of things to get a sense of the food but everything was really bland and uninspired. People also raved about the margaritas, mine just tasted mainly like sour mix, not good. I'm giving two stars just for the server, he did a great job.

This is by far our family’s favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. Just here recently, I got a taco salad with rice, my wife got her normal also (don’t remember what it is) plus we got a full pitcher of margarita. The restaurant was packed (went at dinner time on a Friday) and that food + plus the margaritas hit the spot. The margaritas will sneak up on you lol. Honestly not sure why we love this place, could be the food, drinks, the vibe, idk, but we love it.

The food was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. The atmosphere was popping! 4 stars due to parking restrictions, but other than that would be 5 stars!

One of our "go-to" stops in Kansas City. The food is really good, but there's a lot of it so come hungry. The margaritas are really good, but pretty strong, so start with a small! My only complaint is that everything's pretty packed in but they're always busy so I understand needing as many tables as possible. It has never stopped us from coming. And the wait is definitely worth it.

I know Ponak's has been around a long time.it seems like the taco sauce is missing some of the Ponak spunk it had, like I've had in the past to much red paste maybe.
The Taco meat had great taste. The Strawberry margarita was just yeah

Great food and establishment. I had ate there and a day later saw a double charge. Whoever in charge quickly got it reversed. Thank you again, definitely will be coming back.

The best street tacos in the state. I maybe could of gotten a lil radish but. Great quisine n excellent choices. 4 stars only bc of the wait but ppl are waiting for great food. Ty guys

Good place, great waiter, just didn’t like that they couldn’t switch out the meat (chicken) in the chimichanga for anything other meat. Great white queso and margs on tap!

Food is reasonably priced. We've been customers for over 40 years and it's still our go to place. The margaritas are the absolute best.

It's our go-to! We can't find a place with better Margaritas and great food. They just never disappoint!

Gave us plenty of food. Even took some home. Our waiter very good. Pleasant with us. Yes go again.

Taco meat was well seasoned and the queso was decent.but overall it was average.service was good tho
