Pony Express RV Park, LLC, Maysville MO

Very nice place to camp. We had full hook ups so we were at he end of the campsites which was so nicely shaded and quiet. Will be back to camp here

First time visit, didn't know what to expect or what all to bring, as we were just having a family outing for the day. We didn't bring a grill with us, but the owner let us use the small grill that the rental cabin uses. We had a very nice time grilling and eating in the shady picnic area and playing at the cozy beach. There was a paddle boat available, which we took out on the water for additional fun. The owner was very kind and friendly as she accommodated our somewhat unseasoned group. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to visit again. We'll be sure to bring a grill! The tranquil country setting is beautiful and relaxing!

I am very impressed with this place! We needed a place last minute, after hours. I called many places and no one answered or said no because it was to late. It is a BEAUTIFUL place! Great landscaping and decorations. My kids loved the animals to look at and pet! Also, My dog loved the obstacles at the dog park! Staff was very friendly and never complained. We are definitely coming back and recommending it to everyone! Thank you

We were on our way to the RV park and blew a turbo on the truck. We sat on the highway for an hour in the heat trying to make arrangements for a tow. After being told it would cost 147.00 to be towed 5 miles we hobbled into Macon Missouri. Thank God there was a fairgrounds we could stay at. During all this I call Pony Express to explain the situation and I was met with a rude lady who told me no refunds. She said that they had turned down people and they were full. Seriously I get the rules about refunds. Some rules are made to be broken. Oh yeah we were on our way to see the kids and grandkids. I much rather have been with them then stuck in Macon.and worried how we are going to get back home. I was just asking for a empathy but I guess our 89.00 is more important than being a compassionate human.
Will NEVER considered staying at Pony Express and will NOT be recommending.

We will be back! We came for the animals but we stayed for the pizza and the ladies making it! Such a beautiful place and we had a very positive experience!

Really nice rv campground! Everyone from employees to other campers were very friendly. Dog friendly park was a plus!

Love this place! Our third visit. Great owner, beautiful grounds. Quiet here and they have wonderful food. Big bathrooms/showers and just a wonderful homey feel. Lots of animals to see too. A big pond with fish. You'll love it here!

We enjoyed staying here and loved seeing all of the farm animals. Our only complaints is that there is a lot of poison ivy on walking trails, and the dog park wanted you to pick up after your dog but offered no bags. So BYOPB

Sites could be leveler for campers and more shaded areas would be nice but overall a great place to camp

Management is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable! We will definitely be back!

Stayed here on the way home from yellowstone, very nice campground, good pizza, and nice trails to walk.

Love going there, the Staff is very friendly and helpful. Love how dog friendly the campground is. Kids love the animals and the gulf cart trail.

Neat place located between 2 nearby towns. Restaurant, events cabin, lakes, full hookups with wifi. Worth the visit

This RV park is amazing! Hiking trails, animals my kids love, clean showers and laundry available, and the new wi-fi is great! The owner and staff are salt-of-the-earth people we are proud to know and call friends. Great holiday events and activities and the cafe is awesome! I don’t know what they could improve. It’s fantastic!

Super friendly. Always clean. The pizza amazing and if ya need propane filled it's fairly priced.

I am Local and went because I heard the Pizza was good. I must say what i heard was 100% accurate. The Pizza was great. In the process i learned that the Pony Express RV Park has so much to offer. The Pizzeria had games for my son and i to play while waiting. Aside from the RV Park there are walking trails, golf cart trails, a stage where the host live music, 2 ponds, a candy shop and lots of animals. Also, they host several gatherings and events throughout the year. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a family friendly stop and more importantly i encourage locals to stop by and support a local business!

Omgoodness! Love Terri and her staff. So helpful and nice. Great pizza, sandwiches, and ice cream. Like being with family! Enjoy the front porch while your pizza is baking!
