3We were traveling up North and wanted to hike and explore this area. We made a side trip to this location. First off Google brought us to the wrong spot. We found signs that brought us to the right location. We wasn't sure where to go but we took off to explore anyway.:) If there were trail maps or posted maps showing us options of the trail i would have given it a better review. Us just taking off into the abyss with no idea made it somewhat unpleasant. Luckily we made some good guesses and got back to our jeep w no problems.:) No bathroom on site. The trails for the most part were old roads and occasionally river beds (many small rocks and pebbles and uneven ground). It was peaceful and pretty. Didn't see much animal life but the trees were beautiful. Nice hike with my husband and older kids.
So peaceful and quiet. Parked by boat camping and the locals were very friendly.
Many areas to park throughout the park.
Beautiful place, nice dock and fishing areas. A little hard to get to though.
