Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Joplin MO

Super slow drive thru it seems like they only do one order at a time. Also very rude workers we tried to ask a question about the total on our receipt and the lady shut the window on us and wouldn't talk to us. Love the food but very very poor management/customer service.

We’ve always loved Popeye! The person who gave our orders was very nice and friendly. They just missed to give us our mashed potatoes and gravy so I tried to call but the phone was not working, tried to go in but the doors closed so My only option was to go to the drive through window while the car next to me was waiting for her orders. I was not asked nor even able to talk and was shocked that one of the female employees acted so rude and said I have to step out of the way in the presence of another customer. Just really needs more training on customer service.

We had an online order and put it through. We go to pick up our food. When we got there they told us that it was 2 minutes till closing. We told them that we had an online order and we just needed to pick it up. They told us that they only had a few pieces of chicken and some shrimp. We told them we put in our online order 30 minutes prior. The girl told us that she gets the online orders when they come in. We asked for a refund and said that we would have to get it back through the app. We online ordered 30 minutes in advance. The girl was rude when talking to us. I’ve had multiple issues with this Popeyes before. I wouldn’t eat at Popeyes if you live in Joplin or are visiting. Definitely a 1 star from me.

Waited in the drive through for 30 minutes. They were out of cups and other things. We asked multiple times for a large side and they gave us a small one instead. I’ve never been here where it didn’t take forever unfortunately. Maybe we just need more locations in Joplin so they aren’t so busy

Worst service and experience so far, last week when I went I was supposed to go inside for mobile service. This time they have signs to call, they dont answer the number and yell to make fun of us. So we get in line to get our pre ordered food and wait 15 minutes to get our quick order. No drinks, out of butter, two meals were put in the same box, and the chicken sandwich might have been made yesterday.

I LOVE the food at Popeye's, I do not enjoy the hour plus wait in the drive thru no matter what time of day it is. It is seriously unreal how long it takes! I am sitting in the drive thru now, trapped by the sounding cars, and I've been here for 45 minutes. I just got to the order speaker and was told she would be right with me, she won't, they never are. It appears that they take an order and totally finish with that person before they take another order.
When I finally made it thru the line I couldn't get out because the line for the drive thru goes all the way around the building into the street, I'm including a photo.

Used to be a good place. Went yesterday and will NEVER go back again. Only one side available (mashed potatoes & gravy), chicken was very greasy! I'm pretty sure the chicken strips were semi raw. Felt sick the rest of the day and evening. Not doing it again. So disappointed as we used to love it.

Worst experience I have had at any restaurant. I waited in the drive thru 30 + minutes and the chicken tenders I got were hard as a rock and cold. Probably would've broke my dentures I just got within the last year. I understand being short of help everywhere right now but there is no reason what so ever my money should have to be spent like this. I am very disappointed and will never come back here.

Before we placed our order, this voice came across said I want you to know we only have one side. She said all we have is mashed and gravy. We order a 2 PC with just chicken breast. We got one wing and thigh. Second order was a three piece. We received one thigh on leg and a wing. We headed to the park. No spoons for the potatoes. We attempted to call them. They would not answer the phone.

I have been here several times and every time it is something that isn't right like they have no lids or no shrimp or a specific side. The last time I went there I went on a run for work and couldn't go inside because the lobby was completely closed I had 2 orders and when I got to the drive through speaker after waiting 10 minutes in line they told me I could only do one order at a time and that I would have to drive back through and order my other meal again and when I ordered one of the meals they were out of corn I don't know if it is terrible management or a bad supply chain but thus place SUCKS and if ithe chicken wasn't so dang delicious I would never come back. If they opened one across town I woukd drive there just to avoid this location

Ordered online and when I came to pick my order up the doors were locked. Went through the drive through and they said they never received my order, then they did receive my order but didn’t complete it. Would not recommend online ordering at this location. Very much trash.

You can't go in which was a frustration and the line was very long. However the things are understandable with the current covid environment and worker shortage. They got most everything wrong about our order. We ordered chicken tenders and got chicken with bone, we ordered fries and red beans and got two servings of fries, they forgot our ketchup and didn't even give me my drink. The line was so long I did not want to wait for them to correct the problem.

Waited over 25 minutes just to place our order. The wait was shorter because most of the cars in front of us gave up and left. They were only taking one order at a time; probably to trick their companies tracking into thinking they are providing quick service. Service was very curt, and did not seem to be bothered too much by taking almost half an hour to serve each customer.

I haven't ever been to a Popeyes before so I was unsure what to expect. The chicken was tasty, though not spicy at all which was a bummer, and the mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy was great. The Cajun fries didn't seem all that Cajun to me, no real spice on them either, but had a great crispness too them.

I have given this place a several tries because the food used to be good but I always end up with my order incorrect and they are always out of chicken of all types.it's a chicken restaurant. I can not recommend.

First time I've actually ever had popeyes an it was nasty. They either gave us really old dry chicken or they need to change their oil. The person on head set was rude an we had to sit for at least a good 30 min in line plus another 5 to 10 before they even took our order when we got to the speaker. When i got there they only had 3 cars in line but by the time we finally pulled out there was probably 7 or 8 in line. Didnt understand why our food was so dry an old tasting when we had to wait so long. Not a good first impression
