Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant and Lounge

We went there for New Year's and this was an absolute treat the food was excellent was already stuffed when I went in there managed to eat my whole plate will most definitely be back to try something else

Really great food and service. Kind of bar-like but just great. Waiter was there a half second before you needed him. If you think a burger should be excellent, you will not be disappointed here.

My wings was horrible tonight there usually pretty good! Small & hard. Even the tender:). Waited months for a disappointment. I ordered a 6 piece wing and a children chicken finger. The waitress forgot about booster seat, so meal was cut short.

The restaurant is quiet with a smokin' blues band in the next room but I'm in a mellow mood so I can enjoy them in here. Luke is outstanding, taking care of me.

Comfortable seats, good music, nice atmosphere.

We ordered the poutine as an appetizer. Slices of brisket on top, cheese and gravy over seasoned fries. Comes with pickled red onions which I got on the side. Delicious. The fries are fairly salty though, so order with that in mind.

My wife got the pork tenderloin. Comes with two sides. Mac n cheese is awesome. The tenderloin had a BBQ mustard sauce. It looked like a thin clear red wine sauce but has explosive flavor.

I ordered the blackened blue burger. Bleu cheese, caramelized red onion jam and garlic mayo. Tremendous flavor. The bleu cheese was underwhelming in flavor but some like that. One of the best burgers I've had in Cape. Menu is very interesting.

Dec 2022 update. We ordered the same thing. But that burger was even better. It's the best in Cape in my opinion.

For more of a homey atmosphere, sit on the bar side! The food is delicious, and the service is great!

I love love love this place! They have the best food I've ever taste in any restaurant! It's also a very cozy place to go relax and eat. And a great place to go on a date! Your significant other or wife or husband will not be disappointed! I love it!

Reliably great place. They have a simple but great tasting menu. Full bar with great bartenders. And even an ice cream window. They often host live music and have a few event spaces. The building is prolific with the Coca-Cola sign on the side and was an office for General Grant.

Great location but the service was slow and they made mistakes in our orders. Drinks were forgotten and warm when they were finally delivered. The slow service is what will make us probably not return there.

Port Cape has awesome food at good prices! We always have great service and a wonderful time! We will be back soon!

Food was good as always. Very few seating options because they had several reserved. Got stuck in a corner with little room. Tables were still empty at reserved ones when we left.

Worst customer service ever lazy people and they don’t care if they get business or not wouldn’t recommend to anyone unless they wanted to waste time standing around

Has a lot of history, place of General Grant's hq in Era of civil war 1860s. The meal was good, servers friendly.

Perfect location, good eats. The potato skins and Cubano sandwich were amazing. Wait Staff were friendly.

Took 1.5 hours to get our food. We didn't order anything fancy just sandwiches, appetizers, soup ect. Waitress was nice but 5 times kept saying our food will be right out in 10 minutes. Food was cold and not worth the wait.
It's a shame, a bunch of us used to come here all the time

We did not eat the restaurant but did get the ice cream, which was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend

Great food and service. The grilled asparagus are amazing. My husband ordered the ribs and my son the blue cheese hamburger, both were delicious. Great restaurant!
