Roller Coaster PowderKeg reviews
15I loved this ride it’s so fun I loved when in went fast and it has a 110 feet drop it’s so fun very underrated
Love the concept. The ride was really fun once we made it! The line moved incredibly slow.
The ops were slow; close to 5minute dispatches, and ran 1 train in the afternoon Labor day weekend.
This has a VERY intense launch which is alot of fun (but my 6 year old rode it and loves it). Comparably I've ridden the Hulk at Universal orlando and its launch is wimpy pretty wimpy compared to powder keg.
We let our 6 yo ride because this ride does not go upside down at all so if thats a concern its pretty safe. The lap bars go down very far and it can accommodate small riders easily as a result.
Rating it this for the rude workers short and dramatic with you for no reason. Very good ride tho we rode it 3 times
Completely full of fear and adrenaline.losing my mind after i heard the countdown and after just screaming glad to see why everyone was screaming.super fast! I was glued to my seat
Powder keg is one heck of a crazy ride at Silver Dollar City. It doesn't get a lot of respect because it's not super high but it's like a mini hyper or at least it's silver dollar cities version of such. I love the compressed air launch and it's just a fun ride overall with two lift hills and a fun secondary section right before the end of the ride. If you're in Branson or you're going to Silver Dollar City you definitely have to check out this ride!
My son (5y/o) who was seeking thrills all day was not scared on any of the other coasters he could ride. He just squeaked the height requirement on this one. It made him cry. Great ride. Checked his fear.
One of the most underrated launch coasters I've ridden. The first launch is extremely powerful and is not talked about enough. The acceleration on it is fantastically forceful. Plus the rest of the ride is also fantastic, providing some great flojector airtime moments through the woods. Plus it's just such a querky ride that you gotta love. The history is great, the theming is solid, and is just overall an awesome ride that needs to get more appreciation from coaster enthusiasts
This was my boys favorite roller coaster. They rode it 7 times but it was only because they had the $75 extra-cost pass and could jump to the front.
My favorite coaster at this park! I don’t like how this coaster gets a long line, but it’s still great how it is!
Very fun and extremely rough roller coaster at this amusement park. It’s fast and shoots you off from the beginning. It just isn’t a very smooth ride compared to some of the others at the park. It is unique the way the coaster is almost lifted onto the track at the beginning! Overall, a very fun ride at the park.
It is a great roller coaster. I would say that the line is quite long for the ride time, but it is usually worth the wait.
We waited in line from 1230 to 230 to wait to ride this ride. The wait was due to a maintence issues. After the two hour wait the ride was great. ** is based on down time.
I just turned 60 years old a few weeks ago and have been coming to Silverdollar city since I was a young boy. I rode this coaster with my 10-year-old son twice… The first time and the last time. This ride was very scary for me and yet still exhilarating, too crazy for this old guy.
