Quest Diagnostics Florissant reviews
16I arrived there at 4pm signed in then waited to be called 10 minutes later I was called in the back and while giving my information to the tech another worker came in and said it was past 4pm and the tech i was working with said "oh yeah I forgot my system won't let me do anything after 4pm" which I know is a total lie because it was working up until she came in and said that the office doesn't close until 5pm and they can take walk ins until 4 30pm.
Nothing special about it. Just a run in the mill blood lab. The employees were nice though
They were on time and professional.
Barely felt her insert the needle.
Going back for my labs from now on.
Went for a drug test & had to sit there for hours & hours to drink water because It wasn't enough urine the first time ️
I can’t say enough good thing about this location. All the employees are so friendly. They always run right on time or early. And for getting blood drawn I’m always in awe I’ve even been stuck and seldom bruise.
Overall very positive experience (and I HATE getting blood drawn). The tech who took my blood was very warm, sweet, and sensitive to my needs. She distracted me by asking questions. The scheduling assistant over the phone with Quest could be better because it asks you what time you'd like to schedule your appointment, only to be told numerous times that the desired time was not available.
I went in to get Day 3 fertility testing done. This test is very time sensitive. I was very clear on what was to get tested. NOT progesterone but FSH. I double checked with my doctor to be sure. I got my test results today and they tested the wrong thing that I told them three times NOT to test. They STILL ran the wrong test and due to the time sensitivity of the test I now have to wait a month to try again. I will not be utilizing quest again.
I had the pleasure of being helped by Mary Ann. She was kind and professional. I hope they value her hard work.
Me and my coworker went here to drop off blood! They are so rude and talk to people disrespectful! I forgot my mask and she didn’t want to give me a mask! They was putting people out if they didn’t have one.this place is horrible. Need to get rid of people like this because this don’t make no sense! Make me not want to use quest!
Went in at 8: 15am to get bloodwork done for my physician. Had a balance from a previous visit of $21.14 they wanted me to pay.that I had online the day before. Since their system wouldn't allow them to proceed forward because my payment needed 24 hours to post, they couldn't draw blood. I wasted time and energy that morning just to be turned away over a $21 payment that needs time to update.
I made an appointment and was seen right on time. The woman helping me was very friendly and professional. She understood my need to lay down during the blood draw (to avoid fainting) and also checked on me to make sure I was feeling okay before I left. Overall, a very good (and extremely fast!) experience at Quest.
Update:
I’m back for another visit. I initially gave 2 stars (see my original review below). BUT, Theresa gave me really good service. She is kind and caring, and made me feel comfortable. I have zero tolerance for smart-assery and passive-aggressiveness and she gave me none of that. Nothing but respect and consideration was extended to me. I’m truly appreciative… 5 star service.
Original Post:
Initially I was super excited to see a staff full of older black women (this is important to me because representation matters, they look like me). But one lady was super rude on my first visit. Another lady (Theresa) came out of the office on the left and spoke with me to make sure everything was ok and she was really responsive and genuine. Unfortunately, I had ended up seeing the lady to the right. She was not very tech savvy making the data entry to the appointment longer than necessary. She wouldn’t take any id or other documentation from me, leaving me standing there spelling out all of my information out loud. She was very cold. Her facial expressions were of annoyance. She wasn’t mean but she wasn’t nice. Then, she read and struggled with the box directions to give me the breathe test which made me feel as if she wasn’t as experienced in completing the test.
I have used this office for blood draws for years but the last two times (four months apart) the person drawing blood left me with a bruise the size of Montana. She must puncture the vein all the way through. The first time she made my vein bleed so bad she asked me if I was on blood thinners, which I am not. Both visits left me with an enormous bruise hitch lasted for a week and a sore arm. She needs more training because this is just not acceptable and I will not be back.
We had an awesome experience here today (also the day after Thanksgiving). There were some rough reviews but honestly this place and the women were incredible. Everyone was in a great mood and made it very relaxing. I didn't get the gals name but she had a swing bob and was an angel. Mercy had messed up the first time so we had to go somewhere else and she totally nailed it. Thank you!
This is the second time I have come to this location and they say that they haven't received the orders from my doctor. Something is wrong with the process here.
Not good for children. My 2 year old had an appt for bloodwork. The lab tech didn't get the vein the first time and had to keep moving the needle around. My daughter then became impatient and started squirming a little. I was holding her very securely so the movements were very minor. She's 2, is she supposed to act like it didn't hurt her? The lab tech seemed very impatient. Not even wanting to try to get the other arm. She's a child, it may take a while. She walked out of the room and then came back to say she had to bring another patient back. Wow. Now I have to schedule her another appointment which I'm sure she's not gonna be happy with per this experience. 2 stars because we got back there fast
