Rancho Grande Cantina reviews
17Went Dec 26 for dinner. Service poor receptionist glued to phone waitress overwhelmed. The order was wrong for wife and I first time, second time it was cold. Usually the food is great but this visit was bad. I have never written a review much less negative review but pretty upset with mediocrity for inflated prices wont be back anytime soon.
Food was bad. Burger was a frozen processed hockey puck and they did not put guacamole on it. Taco meat was over diced and over cooked and dry. Food had a ton of salt all over it. Also, the salsa is off. It has a metallic tang to it cause it's being stored incorrectly. Service was good but food was really bad. Family didn't really eat any of the food. We just paid and left.
How do you say slap your mama in Spanish!? RANCHO GRANDE IN BLUE SPRINGS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE FOR MEXICAN FOOD! I see why people be parked all up in the grass! The chicken “Tres Amigos” Plate I could it eat it everyday! My family and I LOVE THIS PLACE! Everything we order for pick up is so DELICIOUS! You can’t go wrong with the chimichanga, hard tacos, carna asada street tacos, free chips and salsa! Customers for life! Y’all keep on doing the Lords work! Mucho Gracias! My picture doesn’t do this good food any justice!
Ive always had pretty darn good food. But tonight I ordered #6 with chicken and black beans instead of refried beans and it was as if they just opened a can and dumped them in my burrito and on my plate including their juice. Hardly any melted cheese on top of my burrito. My son got plaza burrito. His was okay. Cheese dip was cold when server brought to us chips were cold and tasted stale. Spent $53.00 and some change and very upset about quality of our food.
Thank God their online ordering didn't work. I was blessed to be put on hold by a teenager without manners. Just moved to Blue Springs from Liberty. Sadly this place pales to liberty and will no longer get my money. I am sad.
Visited at 9pm. Took a long time to have my order taken. They were more concerned with closing tasks such as vacuuming. Also the salsa tasted like tomato sauce with taco seasoning.
Went on taco Tuesday, buy one get one free, tacos were great, service was great, chips and salsa were great.
The best Mexican restaurant in Blue Springs, friendly staff, reasonable priced, strong margaritas, best chimichangas in KC!
The food the service our waitress Christian was awesome thanks for a fantastic lunch see you next time.
Super duper service I've only ordered twice over the phone and both times has been a great experience
The tacos were just ok. I could do without the powdered cheese. Parmesan (?). As it kept making me cough because there was so much of it you could not avoid inhaling it when going to take a bite of your taco. The shredded cheese is just fine. No need for the powdered stuff.
The service was lacking (it took quite some time to get menus and asked for drinks after being seated). But worse than all was how filthy the restaurant was. There was food and napkins everywhere on the floor. They really should get rid of the carpeting as that makes it look more gross.
Rancho Grande used to be my favorite among local Mexican restaurants. The visit on 8/24/21 was very disappointing. There were 8 in our party. Only 3 got their food order correctly, and among the 8 only 2 were satisfied with the food quality. Drink service was slow and inconsistent. I don't know if this is due to the recovery issues service providers are having because of the pandemic or what. Prices appear to have gone up pretty good as well. My wife and I will probably give Rancho Grande another shot, but our regular Tuesday group appears to be disinclined to come here again.
Do not recommend burrito real.margaritas were below expectations. There are much better options in the area. If you are looking for a pub atmosphere while you're staying at the hotel next door this is the spot for you.
Our waiter Ryan was Awesome. He was doing several jobs and still kepted our drinks filled and checking on us. He covered every need with out us even asking. Food was great, atmosphere was amazing. Thank you to the restaurant for our Great Dining Experience. It was our first time but we will return.
Just went there tonight. Food was good, waitress was great. Note to manager: the place is filthy. It needs a major scrubbing. There was 9 young employees standing at both counters talking and laughing, doing absolutely nothing and one guy bussing tables with a dirty rag and wiping food onto the already disgusting floor. I have been here many times and used to love it years ago, I’m wondering if there is new owner/manager. The place was not busy at all for a Saturday night and now I see why.will not be returning.
Forgot half of the #1 we ordered for to-go food. Called them to let them no and went back to get it and they said “you didn’t bring your order back with you to make sure your really missing items” like really? And didn’t give us the missing items. Terrible business
Employees were sufficient and the food was excellent. They had a Saturday lunch special and my lunch was under 4 bucks! Will definitely return!
