Crooks I received my bill which is normally no more than 50 dollars. I got a new bill in the mail today saying 250 dollar and a letter saying that my toilet may be losing water this is not possible I checked it and it not nothing in the house is leaking. It impossible for a bill to be this high more than 4x what I normally pay

Terrible customer service. Just wanted to turn water on, and had to call several times just to get an application. And when i confronted i didnt get an application, they were rude, not having any empathy.

You get a $15 late fee pay in your water bill the same day it is due. They charge you $2 some change to pay your bill with a credit card. Your water bill is due at the end of the month and if it is not paid it is turned off that month. If you do not have to live in Raytown and get water live somewhere else lol

If I could leave no stars I would. I’ve have a water main break in my driveway that’s making my asphalt pillow up for 3 weeks, water is running down to my neighbors yard and two of my neighbors have come to us to let us know. I’ve called numerous times and no one has come out to fix it. Half the time I can’t even get through to talk to a human. I even talked to the supervisor and still nothing. Customer service is unhelpful and I’m so tired of dealing with this. FIX MY DRIVEWAY.

Raytown water company is terrible. It took them two weeks to fix a water service line leak in my front yard. Water was running down the street my driveway and into the neighbors yard. Now I have a huge mess in my front yard! A deep ditch that they dug up to do the repair, a broken sidewalk, caution tape and cones blocking off the dangerous mess. It’s been another 2 weeks since they were here and the caution tape and cones were blown over in the storm and still no response from them! Every time I call I get attitude from the person answering the phone and the workers are even worse. Rude and snippy people who couldn’t care less about the customer or the work they are doing.

The absolute worst people to deal with. Can’t pay your bill online, can call and pay your bill due to them always putting people on hold. Sending out disconnect notices for $25 due to the fact you can’t get in touch with anyone to pay the bill. Horrible utility company!

The staff is very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Very unfortunate for the people of Raytown who rely upon their service. Worst city utility company I have ever dealt with, hands down

I plan to contact the Attorney General to have them investigated for unethical practices. Chicky the manager and her crew need to be replaced.

Raytown Water Company on 63rd Street are the worst utility company around Kansas City, Missouri. It seems as if they try to find the most nastiest, classless people to do customer service for them. "Actually, i think that they are doing the best that they can". If your not that person you will not last with this company. You have to have a bad attitude to work for this company and this is because of the way that they treat their customers.
Which is a total joke, these people get off on getting over on their customers. The billing notices looks as if if a child created the documents. You can clearly see that they have little oversight. I am assuming that this practice is acceptable with the Missouri Utility Commission as well. But, I really think that the guy that handles this department with the Missouri Commission do a poor job also. He do not follow-up and your complaint does not get any further then him. It's probably because of the number of complaints against them over the years. I think that they need to have their documents audited and have better control over them. It should not be ok to add a red or green or blue note as you go along. When dealing with billing notices on the scale that the do. It makes them come off as unprofessional and and unorganized. Take the colorful notes off of the front on your billing, and stop sending notices every week, people tend to ignore redundancy naturally.

If I could give them zero starts I would! Since they have switched there online system we can no longer log in and they have yet to help us get it fixed. Our bill has always been paid on time for 4 years. Paid as soon as we get the bill. Now that we can no longer log in we all of a sudden have un paid months and are behind when we have paid every month every time we get the bill. Remind you raytown water will shut you off over $43 for one month. Only know that from when we first moved in. Now we can no longer even log into our account to see what's going on. Customer service is no help and will just continue to put you on hold. Quick to take your payment or shut you off but won't help with what you need help with! They will be sure to double your bill when they estimate it instead of actually reading it and there reason for not reading it is they don't have enough meter readers. Where is all this money going when they double your bill because of it.

This company is nothing but a scam, crooks, and thieves. We managed to pay our payment and they STILL came to cut our water off.

Make sure to keep an eye on your bill. They made 3 mistakes on mine within a year of service with one bill charging me $70 more than it should have been. They were able to fix 2 of the mistakes. And make sure to call about receiving your deposit back or else you won't receive it.

This is not a service for the people.

Bill due: Feb 25th
They say they've sent notices and we've informed them that we have not received them (which is odd on both ends)
Disconnected: Mar 9th

Excluding weekends that's only 8 DAYS LATE

They only want their extra money.
They need to be investigated.

I have lived in Raytown Water Department service area now for 1 month already had 2 “water main breaks” leaving us for hours without water and no notifications at all.
When I went to establish service I dealt with two different women that were rude. I could not establish service over the phone and required more information than any utility company ever have needed before for concerns over small dollar service. Don’t move to Raytown service area.

Just spoke with stephanie on the phone and is the rudest most unhelpful person. Just wanted help paying my water bill and she had a very bad attitude. I hate working with Raytown water company it's always a Hassel.

Super Amazing group of people who will go above and beyond to help in anyway. Thanks for all that you do to help support our community with your company and city functions you help with. Chiki, Leslie, Erika and Sarah you are the exeception when it comes to Utility service companies. Amazing people with Amazing Hearts.

0 the lack of professionalism. The supervisor expressed that nothing is “safe” when paying your bill. The staff provide inaccurate information. New location but same staff. Always keep your receipt if you pay cash. The staff appeared that they have no prequalified individuals. They wear jeans, t-shirts and hoodies.that says enough! Protect yourself!
