Able to test any product in their testing pond before purchase to make sure you're getting what works for you. If you're going fishing in the Bennett Springs area, this is a place a highly recommend stopping in and checking it out.

This place is not only a top notch fly shop it is an experience! Make sure and take time to talk to Charlie, he's a wealth of knowledge. Every time I'm there I spot something new. Hundreds of fly rods, one of the largest fly fishing book selection anywhere.

The people in the shop know more about fly fishing than anyone I've ever met. If you want to learn, go visit.

Charlie is a wealth of knowledge about any aspect of fly fishing you want to know about. He has a casting pool out front and will give lessons. His shop has the largest and most diverse inventory I’ve ever seen! This place is worth a trip!

Although a bit pricy, this place has EVERYTHING for a serious fly fisherman! The guys were friendly and helpful, and thank goodness they were were there to guide me to what I was looking for because honestly, I could have spent hours in there just browsing.

Charley Reading has a fantastic collection of fly fishing equipment for any skill level. He has the only casting pool that I am aware of in the state. Come try out a new rod before you buy it or take a.lesson from an expert caster. This a one man show, so be sure to call and make an appointment if you have a special need. A true gem in the Missouri fly fishing family.

Maybe the best stocked fly shop in the USA. Charlie is the best. There is so much knowledge within the walls of his shop I sometimes wonder if one could simply absorb it by osmosis.

If you're into fly fishing, you need to stop by this place. He had darn near everything you might need. Worth a trip for sure!

I have had a good experience in the past, however, was definitely disappointed that there is NO wheelchair ramp. My buddy, who is wheelchair bound, was not able to enter store. An employee came out to pick up his Fly rod for repair, but they lost out on anymore purchases we would have made.

How does a store stay open that isn't A. D. A.compliant.

My trip to Missouri was worth it just to meet Charlie and visit his shop. One of the top shops I've been to in a long time. Well done Charlie! Keep it up.

The exterior pond and falls still under construction, the interior is packed with oddities, vintage to brand new acoutremont for any angling needs! From ready made flies to tie your own, hackle to vises they have a great selection!
