RecNation RV & Boat Storage reviews
12 Not worth the hassle. The amount of paperwork and info required from you for a parking spot is ridiculous. Try calling them, I hope you have spare time, you're going to be on hold for quite awhile. Even to cancel your spot is a pain.
They want a 10 day notice and a picture of the empty spot sent to them. Now I get to pay them for another month with nothing there. I also have to drive back out to that location to take a picture of an empty parking space. Red tape to get in and out.
Look at other storage facilities before you consider this company. This particular facility has been bought and sold 2 times in the past year before RecNation took over. Since RecNation took over, they have raised the rate 3 times in 6 months, charged incorrect "insurance" fees even though I have provided it to them multiple times and pass off all processing fees if you pay with anything other than a bank transfer. Other than location to boat ramp W, there is nothing special about this facility and there are plenty of boat storage options on 169 now.
Clean, well lit, and good service from phone support. Decent pricing too for outdoor storage.
ReNation is a friendly and professional organization and since acquiring the Trimble, MO facility I have seen daily improvements. Their Team, Gabriella particularly, are extremely talented and knowledgeable at fielding questions and fixing issues. Five Stars!
I have complete confidence that our RV is safe in this facility. Also, when I messaged a request a few months ago, someone got back to me immediately.
I store my boat here, have for many years.this place takes over says they are not raising monthly dues but then slaps a $16 insurance dues on top of the monthly rate. I never had to pay insurance with the last 2 companies that owned it. Ridiculous!
Pretty poor business practices and customer service. RecNation takes over the facility and sends out emails for their new insurance charges. Unfortunately for me they had the incorrect email down (email doesn’t exist) so I never received the notification. Surprised that the bad email list that was bounced back to their company wasn’t followed up on. The company has my phone # and home address. Two easy ways to contact me if an email bounces back. Not my responsibility to follow up with them when I don't know changes are occurring. They changed the contract stipulations of the storage facility without proper notification and then charged me a new fee that was 20% higher.
RecNation is awful! They charged me an extra $12 over my monthly fee. I have my insurance coverage submitted. The customer service agent on the phone said that she was refunding me the $12. I did not get refunded! I called back asking where my refund was and the girl on the phone said they had no record of the refund and that they will need to have a manager call me back. I strongly suspect that I will not get called back. I am reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau! The are not trustworthy!
RecNation took over the complex. Terrible experience with the company. They dumped a pile of gravel in front of my unit. I can’t get anyone to speak to me.
Took over sent in insurance proof got charged for it and a service fee, and of course no one will answer
RecNation took over from previous ownership and it has been terrible so far. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone. Leave messages and nobody calls u back. There were tons of hoops to jump through when they took over. The best part is, they told everyone if they provided proof of insurance that they wouldn’t get charged a “protection fee”. Well that didn’t hold true and everyone was charged that fee even though most provided the proof of insurance. Many upset customers on social media. It came across very scammish. Had to go through all of these extra steps just to get approval for 24 hour access to ur stuff. I could go on and on. Look other places first before this one.
