I purchased a refrigerator from this old man. I specifically asked him if everything worked and he said yes he would make sure that all the selves was in it and cleaned on the day my sons went to pick it up also that it has a 6 mos warranty on it. I finally was able to put it in my kitchen after renovations. Come to find out that the shelves are missing and ice maker doesn’t work. So I called and spoke with the RUDE woman that answered the phone she said that I should’ve read the fine print they don’t guarantee the ice makers work and they’re refusing to give me my money back. I asked her why would I buy a refrigerator that The icemaker broke and she said we’re both adults you should’ve read before you purchased no refunds. This place is a rip off be aware. Hunter’s Appliance is down street from this rip you off man go there not here they do not stand behind there word.

My experience wasn’t good. Warranty only for 6 months. The first set of washer and dryer I got he had to switch it out because it stopped working completely and then the next set he gave me kept having issues and he kept having to send someone out to constantly work on it. My appliances didn’t even last my a year. I do not recommend.

Pretty basic. Decent prices for used appliances. I like that they offer a warranty but I'm not sure how difficult it would be to get them to honor it.

I called shortly before they opened and left a message. Dan called me back promptly. He was helpful and professional. I drove to his store and picked up an electric stove. So far so good.

I purchased a dryer may 10th at 5: 30 pm with a 6 month warranty. It was delivered a few days later because he only delive on Mon. Wed.fri. So we had a problem with it not producing heat at all within 30 days and he had someone come out n change a fuse. Here it is Nov. 13th I called because its not doing anything. He stated your warranty expired 3 days ago like yesterday was sunday which is when it went out I couldnt call you because you were closed. So he said he will sale me another dryer like really im not spending another dollar with him 0 stars if I could he doesnt care about his customers just money hungry.

Terrible, guy tells me he dosnt know if the stove works are not, if it dosnt work bring it back. Am not going to take one out and put his in to find out it dosnt work, dont sell something if it dosnt work

Found this little shop by accident and so glad I did! I will definitely be back and recommending to my friends. Delivery was the next day and those gentlemen were very nice and professional as well!

I checked out Reconditioned Appliances a year ago because it is a few blocks from my house and rental property. I've been a return costumer 6 times ever since. Dan runs a true local independent "Mom n' Pop". Great store. The appliances are good as new. Dan is a real expert on different appliances and will walk you through what you need - or just let you browse and take a look on your own. The quality and price at this store probably make it the best value place on the south side.

When I had an issue with a fridge, Dan honored the warranty without any hesitation and swapped it out for better fridge - w/ free delivery.

This is a south city reconditioned appliances store. It's a diamond in the rough. People are always surprised how much I paid for great fridges, ovens, washers, etc. + delivery and service. Go here for the value. Wonderful little shop.
