Red Lobster reviews
17 Food quality has gone down.
Service was slow and bad (appetizers came without serving spoon and plates to eat). Food was cold by the time plates came. Waiting period was long even though it was not crowded.
Tables were not cleaned after guests left for a long time - that’s the reason for waiting period.
Poorly managed.
At lunch on our visit (2) the place had plenty of room for seating. Our waitress was attentive and the food was satisfactory. I had the soup and salad which was great. Mom had the fish and chips which she felt needed help. Perhaps some malt vinegar should be on the table.
This is one of the last RL locations in St. Louis where I feel like I have a chance of having a pleasant experience dining at a Red Lobster-I've boycotted all the others. The server here still had a problem when serving me, but it wasn't a hanging offense, so I'll go back to this particular store. The meal was actually good this time.
Food was great, and the service was excellent. No experience is perfect, but this was extremely satisfying. Recommend the shrimp scampi and the grilled shrimp.
Moved from two to four star just because your bartender saved you. Todd b was excellent. The restaurant was pretty filthy but must have been after Sunday rush. 415 PM we get seated.host didn’t know where to seat us.third table was the charm. But I said this can’t be good. I was right waited and waited. Servers just walking around talking. No managers to be seen. We finally got up after about ten minutes of being ignored and went to the bar. We had immediate service. And great service at that. Food was hot and good. Lots of untrained guest service people here but I guess that’s the way things are. If I come back I will only sit at the bar.
My server Catherine looked absolutely lost, like she’s never done this before or was new. Gave absolutely no effort, I would tell her I need a refill on my drink and some more biscuits she stood there nodding her head for like 5 seconds like she was processing what I was telling her. When I said I want to do another round of the 3 endless shrimp selections I waited almost 20-25 minutes and it was very very slow and so many empty tables sooooo in short I don’t know what the deal is. Are they short staffed in the kitchen, something isn’t right. I ended up going 1 round and that was it because I knew I would wait another 20-25 minutes tops and I didn’t want to just sit there staring at the empty plates. I literally had to tell her to refill my drink and it was incredibly slow today. Basically no effort, not a care in the world and for 1 day it wasn’t endless shrimp it was wait for 20-25 minutes then finally get it on a slow day “endless” shrimps with a side order of let me wait until he asks me to do refills because it’s obviously so “busy” today and I can’t keep up smh. Very disappointing!
Went for the unlimited Shrimp. LOVED the ginger dressing for my salad. Limited time flavor was good.perfect amount of spicy.
But as usual the Cheddar Bay Biscuits stood out. Especially at this particular location in the Chesterfield Valley. Biscuits were soft and perfect. The Biscuits at other locations are sometime a bit dry on the outside. Not these.they were perfect! It was my cheat day so I had 2!
"All you can eat Shrimp" is really a great meal for the price. We had a wonderful time and will visit again soon
Food was delicious, but the server was absolutely horrible. Kept ignoring us and rarely came to the table.
This was one of the best Red Lobster experiences I've had. Out of many. Great service, great cook. Even the biscuits were above average.
Very nice and clean restaurant not very busy but great service and food was good but always could be bigger portions but it's red lobster!
Food was great, but endless shrimp and out of two types. Waiter was very difficult to understand
Have yet to have a bad meal or experience at this particular Red Lobster and that's the reason why we travel from st peters to Chesterfield.
We had a big table that we reserved and they were kicking us out as we were still eating because it was closing.
The linguine was lacking sauce, tasted bland I tried salt and pepper it did not fix it. The Bahamas momma was strong.service was friendly. Not sure when I’ll be back.
Ate at Red Lobster today. It’s usually one of my favorite places. Not today, got the jumbo coconut shrimp, not jumbo and only six. I usually take home some because they are big. These were about half the size as usual and only six and a small baked potato for $18 (including tip). Salad doesn’t come with meal anymore, you have to pay separate. Very disappointed with the small flattened shrimp and the number. Don’t need to eat there again. For awhile
The air conditioning was broken or just not on very high, it was extremely hot inside and very uncomfortable. Had to take my food to go because I felt too sick to even eat, crazy how they weren't closed during a heat advisory! Should have at least had a sign on the door: (, People were fanning themselves with menus. My mom also ordered a lobster tail and it was very small, a little bigger than a crawdad. It was the 2 for 20$ that also came with like 6 shrimp and a coleslaw. 2 for 20 brine shrimp and crawdad.
