15 Foresters show as in inventory- that doesn’t mean they have them. Call before you make the trip and waste your time.

In response to their reply - a discrepancy would be one or two cars. Zero cars on the lot smacks of getting people in under false pretenses.

I love the Subaru Impreza I bought, but I do not share the same love for Reliable Subaru. I had filled out a credit application out ahead of time, but it was not processed before I got there. Not a big deal by itself, but the reason they don't run the credit before is so they can drag out the process to try to stick you with as much add-ons, like extended warranties. The process took several hours, and I was told interest rate and term was dependent on getting the extended warranty. This was after I had asked to have the extended warranty removed several times to no avail. Not surprisingly, the dealership was no help in canceling the extended warranty within the 30 day right to cancel. Luckily, I was able to cancel with the warranty company. On the way home, I noticed the brakes squealing. I took it into the local shop to get them inspected, and the pads were worn all the way around. About a month after purchasing the car, the cruise control stopped working and the airbag light came on. The local shop can't fix is, so sadly I have to take it to the dealership. Since I don't trust Reliable, so I do some research online, learn it is probably the clock spring, and call other dealerships to find the cost of the repair. General consensus was in the $600-$700 range. I bring the car in to get it fixed and have the oil changed. We take it into the service area. They brought it up to have it worked on and tell me it will be $160 to look at the car. I go back to the waiting area momentarily, and then head back outside. Before taking it back to be worked on, they parked it back in the lot. After about 2 hours, I still notice my car sitting out there and asked about it. They said they were working on it. About a half hour later, they come back with an estimate. The total is for $1,000, but I am told the total would be closer to the total for the line item of the repair would be about $670 or so. The total was $985, or $160 to look at it and the $800 or so for the repair. I am not sure I would have had the repair done there if I knew how much it would have cost there. The Reliable experience can be summed up as this: If you give them an inch, they will take at least a mile.

Update: Apparently they sold me a car missing body clips so it literally falls apart going down the road.

It seems the last review was from a misunderstanding. They did good. Above and beyond based on current information. I increased the stars to reflect that.

For anyone else to not make the same mistake, Mazda techs don't work on the weekend. A problem for sure but okay if you only need a oil change. The problem is that if you made an appointment on the Mazda site, the Subaru won't have a record.

There was still the attitude problem when dealing with the vending machine and the food machine stealing my money. However that isn't the axillary.

The service was fine, no complaints. The service person himself was great.

Elliott did a great job of walking me through the different options for used Foresters without being too pushy. Highly recommend working with him.

I’m only taking a star off because I was given a great offer on a Forester that was just traded, but the offer was rescinded after a manager realized that they had mixed up VINs and had offered me too low of a price. I understand that mistakes happen, but it would have been nice to have that initial price honored. Still highly recommend working with Elliott if you can.

Unfortunately I had to edit my review. We bought a used 2020 Outback and was told by GM Mike that if we had any issues that he would personally make sure they were taken care of. My wife almost had a really bad accident because the the front passenger wheel lost 3 lug nuts! I called and asked to talk to Mike but no answer, then he had someone else (Paul) call me and tell me that someone probably tampered with the car. Unfortunately just another car lot selling unsafe vehicles.

Went to service my car after hearing some weird sounds… they put in the brakes wrong but the total charge was over $150 for their mistake while it was all under warranty. Also they gave me back my car on empty when it had around half a tank when I took it in.

They replaced my factory set sensor 2 months later sensor went off said it needed a lot more wrong like $8,000 worth after just spending $3,000. Seems like they added more problems. A 2015 with 66,000

If I could rate the service department a zero star I would. Every time I make an appointment, I specially ask not to services by a particular service advisor. Yet, every time I arrive for my appointment, I’m always given to him. I’ve reached out to multiple people within Reliable and nothing changes. I’m promised my car at a specific time then get NO communication for hours. I have never gotten my car back within the time frame promised. I’ve never had a pleasant experience at this service department. I will no longer be going to the only Subaru dealership in town. It’s worth the hour plus drive to go somewhere where I am heard. Do better Reliable.

From scheduling to sales to financing - simple and stress free. Sales staff are knowledgeable and polite. They did what they said they would. (Thanks Noah S!). Financing was smooth and quick and actually was an all around pleasant experience. (Didn’t expect that) (Thanks Ethan!). Less than 3 hours start to finish and I couldn’t be happier

I truly appreciate how the salesman, Elliott Brown, handled the whole process, letting me do a lot of the "work" over email and phone. The financing process seemed to drag on longer than I liked, though. Buying a vehicle is not my favorite thing, but I did get a car that met my needs at a fair price. Everyone gave excellent customer service, and the owner coming by and speak to us was a nice touch.

The sales staff were friendly, respectful, and highly competent. There was no hype, no trace of a hard sell. Bryon Edgerton was especially helpful. By the time I drove off in my new BRZ, he was a friend.
