Republic service was suppose to pick up my trash Thursday and they did not. I reported the missed pick-up and was told they would be back in one to two days. It is now Monday four days later two if you are only counting business days. Our trash is now way over full and I can't get anyone on the phone and the "contact us" part of their website isn't loading.

Republic services is the worst I've ever experienced. We moved into our new house in 2020 and have had nothing but problems with them. They can't spell your name correctly on your account and can't fix it either in 3 years. They continually miss pick ups, and call to complain and they just say it's a glitch in the system or the driver didn't know. We will call you when we know when we can pick it up. We have no choice but to use them because of the county.

I have called numerous times over the past few weeks and still no pick up of my yard waste, even after numerous of promises. Now I have blown my leaves to the curb and you can pick them up whenever you decide to empty the cans!
Stop being disrespectful to disabled retired veterans that are just trying to do what they can. Not all of you are just my driver for yard waste. My driver Bill for trash and recycling is amazing. Take some lessons yard man. Bill even gets Christmas gifts from us!

We moved into our new house in March 2023 and started services with republic. Our trash didn’t get picked up for a whole month despite reporting missed pick ups. The issue was resolved for 3-4 weeks and then they stopped picking up again. Our bills were never late and we always put our trash out on the correct day. The final straw was when they stopped picking up altogether and the same trash was sitting out for 2 months in the summer heat. We submitted missed pick ups & the office staff claimed they kept “escalating the issue to operations & to wait till Friday and they’ll pick it up” which they never did. For 2 months. We canceled immediately and demanded a refund for time our trash wasn’t picked up. They finally picked up our trash when they came to take back the can we used. Interesting how they didn’t miss it that time.

They missed the trash. Denied to come back out and pick it up. Talked to supervisor Sandy and the notes on account say denied not my problem.

Semi driver. Ive been here twice to pick up loads of recycled paper. Not a ton of space and lots of moving traffic at times. Getting into dock and check in and out process was straightforward and painless. Extremely fast loading. Just make sure to swing very wide for the scales.

Terrible service all around, trash is never picked up and customer service is not helpful at all. Not only do I have my trash bins out on the pickup date but 24/7, the lid is completely closed as they request and yet I am always skipped unless I call and report it. I have utilized the website to report missed trash pickups, and my reports are never taken care of. Both my partner and I work the same business hours as Republic Services so it is extremely difficult for us to take time out of our day to call, when we call during our lunch breaks, the hold times are too long, which means we need to take unpaid time from our job just to call. This week alone we called 3 times, and what did customer service do? They said they had “notated our account” and that we would have to call and report this every time it happened. How is this fair? Not getting a service we’re paying for and on top of that, request time off from work just to call each and very week.

Update:
The issue started happening again a few months ago, so I called in and asked to speak to a manager, to which I was told I would get a call back. Unfortunately since I was working, I did not get to answer the call, so I got a voicemail of an unprofessional manager who put the blame on me. Her answer was, “you haven’t been calling to report all your missed pickups, make sure to call us every time”. What kind of solution is that? I pay for a service that I do not receive, and I have to take time out of my day to call to let you know of your lack of responsibility week after week? It’s simply not fair. It is your job to take accountability and find a solution, I need this to be resolved permanently.

We just moved into a new home. So far it’s been like a root canal to get old nasty bins left here emptied and picked up for a new bin. Left messages and calls weren’t returned. Scheduled pickups weren’t met and and when I finally got through again they had no record (of course)
Here’s hoping actual service is reliable and trouble free.

We have cars that blocks are trash cans and I think they should be able to get her trashcan if it’s blocked

Gotta be the most expensive trash pick up in the area. I don’t understand when I lived in other parts of the county other companies were way more affordable for the same service

This company has fallen apart these last 2 years. Service is near non existant whether it is the office help or hauling trash away. They charge me for 3 pickups per week and only show up 2 times a week. They won't refund me for missed pickups.

Came here for a pickup… lot is tight but you have enough pass to turn around and a enough pass in front of you…staff was really nice and helpful…

For a truck driver picking up, it was ridiculously fast! Everyone was nice and professional, from the ladies inside the scale building to the young man who moved a trailer for me so I could more comfortably dock, to the lady who loaded me so fast, in less than 10mins, I couldn't inhale my food

Absolutely horrible service. Missed more than 65% of yard waste pickups through the summer, when I asked for it (yard waste) to be canceled via phone in late-July, I was advised the service was removed (for YOU RS; this is why no yard waste has been left out for months). When I inquired again (via email) there was no response). I advised again and was advised (paraphrasing) is show you canceled the service online on X date (which was done due to the CSR’s inability to perform their job). Avoid them if possible.
