When you are homeless and have addictions here is a safe place to come and get help. There is no church backing up these people. Kind hearts, open mindedness, and charity for the down trodden. A different approach with a good soul.

They claim they take pets. My dog is a service ‍? A little 11pound chiuahuah. All of a sudden they now saying no to me and my BJ

Life wouldn't be possible without RESTART! This organization in Kansas City has lots to offer all for a good cause.

This is supposed to be a place to help people but I have been there for a while now and have not gotten any closer to getting a place to live! Would never recommend this place.

Although I'm not almost now but at a time I wish I would have known about restart they are really helpful to employees really care about the residence it's a rough time but it's better than nothing

The case workers could use some ethics training. I have watched several staff gossiping about a client when they thought she couldn't hear them. The behavior was shameful and heartbreaking to watch. If u r in social work that means u care about everyone u serve or come in contact with u. U r held to a hire standard if u r a professional.

Called here to see if they would let me go here tonight so I won't be out on the streets. The lady that answered the phone sounded real snooty and not compassionate at all. They tell you to call back in the morning. This good and moral country just let people sleep on the street.

It was a great program but people need longer than two weeks and more staff that care and actually go and help people everyday till we all get the help we need not being able to do the things they say they can do so I don't find a place and only got help twice in tree weeks then the boot but. Definitely longer stay and alot more one on one help like every day so people can actually succeed in their goals. Like I couldn't find a place and oviesly couldnt do what they said they can do so I needed help but got none

Hello, my name is Shannon. I've been calling for the past year to get help with shelter. I've been able to hold things down until I had surgery. I just need a place to go for my family and I and would really love if someone answers back before my family and I are thrown out on the streets. I'm really starting to break down because I don't know what else to do and I don't have family that's willing to help out even though I have kids so I don't have family that I call family. We are out here alone. Please respond back.

I live here and people are nice to your face. Was supposed to help me with food stamps and other things
Been waiting for a long time because I can't eat the food here because I have stomach issues and they don't do special diets. So I had to go to the food stamp office myself and now I will be able to get the help I have needed. Guess what I'm saying is that you can't rely on any one other than your self to get what you need in life!

This place couldnt even help me those bumble bees are rude i see landscapers do there job but see the supervisor sleeping or talking on the phone in the truck

If you like being treated like your worthless. Come here. Its dirty the staff is mean as can be. Def don't see many people getting put in to housing either it's sad.

Homeless shelter that serves babies to grandparents. Great staff. Good community resource connections.

ReStart is a fantastic non-profit organization that is dedicated to empowering people who are facing or experiencing homelessness. I commend reStart and its team for the great work they do and support them in their efforts to help those in need and improve the community as a whole.

Obey the rules and regulations and it'll be smooth sailing. Don't talk about others. Keep it to yourself. Handle your business and move on. It's a shelter. Not the Marriott. I was there 1year and a half ago. I thank them. I've been housed for the last year and a half and doing great.

The most wonderful and helpful staff that'll do anything to help no matter what it takes! They're LGBTQ friendly and recognize transgender women as the women we are! Thanks to everyone at ReStart and all the people who donate to keep it so nice!

Its a transitional living facility helps people get back on their feet in life.anyone that helps people get their life together is a step in the right area of human needs in these days and times.

I volunteered to serve lunch on Christmas day. I truly enjoyed giving back. I met two of the chefs. The food smelled marvelous and was presented beautifully! The kitchen was clean. The process was well planned and staffed. If you have a weekend or week day free, go serve your neighbors! You will not regret the experience

The work this place does is amazing. The only outreach in the city that services LGBTQ homeless and they allow teenage boys to stay with their families instead of separating them.

Alot of resources and assistance. But there is alot of confusion about when and where you need to be. Staff is assistable and helpful though
