Retail Rebel - Belton

Normally I go to the Olathe location but thought I would see what things other stores have. I witnessed one of the workers being extremely rude to a family and yelling at their child. I am so thankful the Olathe store has amazing staff members anytime I go there. This store needs to do better and control their staff.

Your purse requirements are ridiculous! 8.5x11 or smaller or it can’t come in. The thing you’re measuring with isn’t even 8.5x11, it’s smaller than that. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and it’s 105 outside and you’d rather me go put my purse, that is 2 inches bigger than a piece of paper in my car! I was in a week ago and no one said a thing to me! I won’t be back.

Would not recommend if you’re a person of color. Got followed through the store and they wouldn’t allow me to shop on both sides, told me I have to stay on one side. They tried to take my items I paid for as my girl shopped and I told them no, they asked that I take everything to the car. I got harassed the entire time and I’ve never had this experience at any other retail rebel.

Absolutely terrible customer service especially the "security gaurd" have been going here for years and ask for help with an item and she screams talking bad about me and my husband. Will never go back

I come here all the time and love to come but after today I will not be coming back my son kept shifting his body in the shopping cart and a store security told me about about 3 times and said that the next time he moves she will have us pay for our items and leave and we would come back tomorrow. A 2 year old is going to get tired of sitting on a hard cart. It was a bit extreme considering otherwise everything else was fine. I understand this store is trying to find ways to improve but this was overboard. At least he wasn’t destroying stuff like most kids do when they go in.

Waste of time. Came and waited 40 minutes. No where were we told we needed to “ Reserve a spot” on this app. And got pushed to the back of the line. And wasted all of that time. Will not return.

One of my favorite places to shop. The left side is like a discount store. All new items just discounted. The right side is multiple bins you can dig through and every day of the week is a different price Saturday is $10 day and friday is. 50 day! Sign up for the rewards it's so worth it, you save more each time and get discounts on every item! Highly recommend!

Security was pretty rude trying to put us out while we were trying to check out but everyone else very helpful and nice with good manners!

So while they have somebody counting up the huge orders the cashiers stand around and do nothing. Why not tally these big orders at the same time you ring the small orders?

I'm insulted and I don't even carry a purse. My wife and I thought we would stop in for the first time and look around. We were greeted at the door by an employee that told my wife her purse was too big (maybe by 1") and had to return it to the car. Note to ownership- YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR MIND.

One star is too much. Discriminates again women. I have a small backpack purse that was longer than their cardboard measurements of 6x6. I have been taking the same purse in for quite some time now. I don't own a preteen purse. I'm not leaving my purse in the car to be broken into. Any place I have been to that has had a problem with purses always provide lockers realizing that its not a good idea to leave them in the car.
I won't be back.

I like this store, but the whole "purse" situation needs to change. Like ASAP! Get better cameras or better security. But telling a woman they can only carry a purse that could only hold a couple tampons isnt ideal ‍️.

Discriminated against me For having a medication bag.

I am disabled and have medication that I carry with me in a medic bag. They wouldn't allow me to come in. I can't leave them in the car they will get stolen again. My medication has been stolen from a parked car 4 times in the past which has the potential to kill me so I cannot leave my medication in the car.

Horrible to mothers! One star is too much for this place. My sister and I were kicked out of the store in Belton, MO for trying to feed her 5 month old crying infant a bottle bc they don’t allow outside food or beverage! It was bottled breast milk! The girl at the front chased her down in the store to tell her she had to leave and security also followed. Dozens of other women in the store were outraged and other employees even questioned the action but none of the employees tried to stop this from happening.

I understand a no outside food or beverage policy for adults or even toddlers, but for a 5 month old infant who has to eat every 2-3 hours? !? ! COMPLETELY absurd and ridiculous. I had two carts of merchandise and probably would have spent over $300. They lost my money today and my business forever.

Won't be back couldn't bring purse that has been carried multiple times into this store. Won't match app prices anymore if it is higher at register that's the price so app is almost worthless. Honestly been coming since they opened with just bins but will not ever come back.

This place is a joke! Tried to take my grandsons to go and shop. Was greeted at front by a girl. She was nice but i was told because my purse didn't fit in a 8 by 8 square i couldn't take it in. Now my purse is about a by 9? I was asked to take it to the car? We left. My purse is full of junk so no way to put a thing in it.i dont steal bit was made to think i might? Dont need my business for sure

DON'T SHOP AT THESE STORES. THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND ANYTHING THEY SELL. NO EXCHANGES AND NO REFUNDS IS THEIR POLICY. THEY WILL TELL YOU THE ITEM HAS TO BE TESTED BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE. WE PURCHASED SEALED COOKING SPRAY AND ONE OF THE BOTTLES STOPPED SPRAYING AND ALL THE PROPELLANT CAME OUT. THEY REFUSED TO EXCHANGE OR REFUND. THEY HAVE ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ARE RUDE WHEN YOU ASK THEM ANYTHING. WE WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.
