Richmond License Bureau reviews
15Been up their 2 Saturdays now and hours say till 12 on Saturday and for some reason ur closed all the time. You need to fix your hours,
Ladies there don’t care about the community. Put me on hold for over 10 minutes just to hang up on me… it’s not that busy there.
Yesterday in and out in under 20 minutes. Waited 45 minutes at another location and no numbers called. This location has the best customer service! Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Lots of people were sitting in the lobby when I got there. But there was no organization for knowing who was next. No number to take. No line to stand in. Just a room full of people and you don’t know how many people are in front of you.
The Richmond license is small but very efficient and timely. I come from Indep.to richmond to have all my dmv business done.the wait time is very minimum. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Kudos to the Richmond Dmv.
Waited out side for 40 minutes, then 15 minutes once inside. Need another worker to keep desks running on regular transactions. Driver's photos and documentation away from regular transactions.
Wonderful people work there. Helpful, kind. Never a long wait. Make the drive and enjoy the nice people who work here. Thank you
I have been in richmond for almost 10 years and never once had a good experience here. One lady that works here even berated me for getting my licence plates stolen in front of the whole waiting room.if you have to go pray you get out fast and unscathed.
Don't go anywhere else. The ladies at the desk are polite helpful informative. The process was 45 minutes for tag license and all including the wait. Besides, downtown Richmond is lovely.
Arrived shortly after it opened. Had to wait outside in the hot sun. At first the line moved. Then-no movement. Looked inside through the window and realized only one employee was there, working with a man.and a woman. 30 minutes later, I had to leave or be late for work. The same couple was still there!? !? Only God knows why. I wasted almost two hours to accomplish nothing. Truly a miserable experience.
Went in to get a new copy of my registration, they were polite and friendly. Got home and the registration had my old plate number on it not my new one (got new plates 6 months ago) so basically I waited in line for nothing.
So nice and lines were short. Worth the 45 minute drive from Independence to not have to wait in line for 4 hours.
I went to excelsior first 15 people standing outside.went to Richmond pulled up thought they were closed they weren't I was in and out in 10 minutes this was at 11: 30 ish
It's a small office, but the staff more than make up for it! Super helpful, and will go above and beyond to get you what you need.
Long line most of the time. 5-15. They need a person to answer phones. And just speed up in general. Other than that, good experience.
