The water level has been in the decline for some 2 years now. The rest of the place is nice.

Love this lil jem. Right off hwy 64/40. Plenty of parking, flat path around the lake and thru the trees. Connects to the Greenway for additional milage. And it's beautiful!

Looking for a nice place to walk with nice scenery? River’s Edge Park in Chesterfield is a nice option. Located in the Valley by The Factory. Went with a friend and it was just a really nice walk. I always love being surrounded by trees and water. This was a beautiful time of year to go because the leaves were changing colors.

We really enjoyed the walk to the pond, but the mosquitoes were out in full force! The scenery is beautiful, and the pond was really nice. We never did get to the river's edge, but it was still well worth the drive!

It had a level gravel trail. It has a beautiful lake you can walk around. There were plenty of parking at the entrance. There were a lot of trees with shade on the trail. I had great time walking on those trails.

Clean trails. Stay away from anything green unless you can identify poison ivy or poison oak. It's everywhere.lot of different fish species in the lake, but mostly over run by turtles and Asian carp.

Nice Park for a quick hike. Views of the river and a small pond you walk around on the trail.

Someone walked by and asked “Do they even stock this lake? ” After I spent all day there catching nothing

The looping path is about 1.9 miles long, but you can add an extra tenth of a mile if you head off trail to the Missouri River. It's pretty clear when you need to leave the path to get to the river lookout, worn from many people heading off path. The path is flat, so it would be a great place to put some miles in.

The view around doesn't change much, so you aren't going to get a change in scenery. However the number of trees the beavers have chewed up was fascinating! Every direction you look is another stumpy tree trunk or evidence of fresh gnawing. It was absolutely incredible. We didn't see any actual beavers, but we did see potential dens/holes on the bank of the lake.

You can also see evidence of flooding if you look closely at the tree trunks. Well, maybe not closely. You've got to look out into the distance and you'll notice the trees are lighter at about eye level, showing the the water was once that high. Again, nature is pretty cool at to what it can overcome.

Parking is at one end of the outlet mall. You should see a sign before you even get to the outlet mall. If you pass it, you can always go behind the outlet mall and circle back. The levee trail separates the parking lot from the trail, so head over the levee trail and down the the River's Edge Trail.

Beautiful place even though the fishing for me seems poor. Something always draws me back for another try.

Great trail! Great for kids! Nice, flat and scenic! Some portions under water due to high waters, but still fun! Kids loved it!
