Riverwoods Park & Trail reviews
3Nice little area not a lot of parking but not usually many people here at one time. Lacks a little on things to do but is a nice quiet area off the main road.
The trail itself is very enjoyable to walk, specifically near the Mississippi River. I believe there are two or three overlooks to the river, with the ability to peak at historic St Charles, and the casino across the way. I dislike the part of the trail that is closer to the business side of Earth City. Completely exposed to the sun, and nothing really to look at on that side. I would avoid this trail until the bridge and rest of the trail is rebuilt, as part of the trail was damaged from recent rising of the river. Dog friendly, and the public restrooms are pretty clean.
Will be beautiful in Spring with leaves and water. For now, good trailhead (s), and a nice ride.
