Told him via a note when I dropped off to call with estimate after it was diagnosed. I had paid $900 for the tractor and had already put about $300 additional into it. So out of the blue Friday he calls and said your mower is done and I asked cost and it was over $400 and I never was told that to approve or to not. There was a high possibility that I would have parted it out as it is very clean so a lot of good parts. I go there to pick up after trying to call back several times after he called me in early afternoon with no answer so I was going in to see if we could get a discount of like 25% and he pretty much said screw off because he could have given me 25%~35% discount to own his mistake or just inability to run a business. I would stay away. I for sure won’t be referring him. Hope it works and isn’t a complete was of money.

I had a great experience dealing with Robert on an issue with my Kohler engine. My engine warranty had expired and I had to buy a new one, and Robert went the extra mile to get me a partial reimbursement for what I had to pay for the new engine. They charged me over $400.00 up front for a basic lawnmower engine tune up. They kept my mower for weeks with zero contact and when I called to check on it, I was given the run around. I went up to see what was taking so long and what should have been a simple tune up turned into SEVERAL UNAUTHORIZED "repairs" and I was charged over 200 more before I could take it home, where it is completely useless.
You should not have to front the money for ANYONE to get the parts that they should have had on hand. Bad business practices.
BEWARE THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY!

They are dishonest, price gouge, and all around rude. I should have noticed the 1 star reviews before using them. I complained to Robert himself and I quote him. “ I will be happy to never hear from you ever again. ” Go someplace else. Really. You will be happier.
