Me and my wife went there both of us was going to purchase a handgun it wasn't very busy we stood at the counter for 20 mins they just stood up front and looked over at us and never spoke a word so we walked out went to another gun shop bought 2 handguns and they were much more friendly we went to Dunn's sporting goods awesome service

Large store, lots of inventory, but no military items I was looking for. Salesman was both pleasant & friendly.

Bought my first gun here, and was very pleased with the whole experience. Chris was helpful and the other guys clearly work as a team if they aren't too busy. Also heard a couple of funny stories during the brief time I was there. And this goes without saying that they waited on me to run home for proof of an address-change. Looking forward to visiting again in a few months.

I had a baffling experience? I called on a saturday asking about a Glock 17/34 MOS. Robs had none in stock but they recommended the new Glock 47. I asked if they would accept a sig 320 in trade he said they would have to review it but absolutely. I show up on a sunday with a buddy, Bring my Sig 320 in the factory case. The guy at the counter asked where I bought the gun at new? I mentioned Rural king. He walks away comes back 2min later and tells me that "Sig sells lower quality guns to big box stores like Rural king" and had no interest. He then walks off with no interest in selling me a glock. Both buddy and myself were baffled. I've bought multiple guns from Robs and this is a first. Being that they have a blown up gun in the shop saying that it was Rural king ammo I feel like there is an issue there. But the only person to suffer was the customer.

Great selection of guns and ammo.friendly service was helped very quickly as we walked in and walked out with a hunting rifle and ammo for my sister very impressed with this place

I called on Tuesday asking for a very specific firearm, I was told he did have it and he would hold until the following day when I could get down there to get it since the store was over a hour away from me. I called Wednesday to confirm again that he had this specific firearm and he assures me he had it. Fast forward. I arrive at the store and he has me start filling out the paperwork and I saw the gun he brings out is not the gun that I asked for, and he admitted to knowing it was not what I asked for, but was still going to try and pass it off as it was. I highly suggest staying away from this “business”

Thanks for the reply but you are lying bc I was sitting right there while he called you BOTH times stating “micro”. He called over 20 different shops and stated every single time what he was looking for.and when the other places told him no sir sorry we only have the mini he kindly declined bc that was NOT what he was looking for, and for you to lie and try to cover yourself is very unprofessional.i’m sure you probably have recording on your phone, so go back and listen to each phone call, and post the audio.also on top of all of that you admitted in the store that you KNEW that was not the gun he was asking for, but you were still going to try and pass it off that it was.

Bad experience all around. Sent a cashier's check for an online purchase. They said they never got it & stopped answering the phone. Then about a month later they mail ed me back my check.

They are awsome everyone's nice and super friendly and can totally help you out with all your firearms needs

Great place to buy firearms. Always treated right and find what I want. Everyone is friendly and take their time to help you when needed.

I asked him for a recommendation on a gun to pop my neighbors dog for a joke and he was so nice and funny about it.

Okay. I have a gun worth 150 by whoever was disrespectful enough to try that with me the mag is 40 in your store i have two thats 80 dollars so why is my gun worth 60 bucks cedar offers 250 to start and because they know how to treat a community instead of customers. Because 100,000 people liking you dont mean jack when 1m people is your target audience so the fake wow so great commemts wont matter when this is all over because your 1 star keeps climbing greed is a sin and we're in the bible belt get smart or be the next gamestop and flunk idc but yall asked

Had a customer service problem and Rob and his wife handled it very quickly. They made sure to let me know if I needed anything to let them know. This business is owned by stand up people and I’ll definitely continue to be a loyal customer.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Went in with my six year old and told the guys working that we didn’t know much about bows but my son was interested in learning archery. Informed him we were new to it and had no knowledge at which time he said he would order a nice starter set for my son. I paid went back the next week when it came in only to find out he ordered the cheapest archery set they sell at Walmart and doubled the price. We were also told when I purchased it that they would provide some instruction on compound bows but once I went to pick it up and they had my money they weren’t interested in helping. I like to support local businesses but never again after this.

I don't know if I caught them at a bad time or not but very rude customer service.i wouldn't recommend going there unless you want to fell like you shouldn't be in in there wasting their time

Rob's guns is the only place I'll be doing my gun business in the area now. After calling around to several shops trying to get information on having a gun shipped in, Rob's was the only place that was helpful and seemed honestly interested in doing my transfer. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

Will be going back to buy my next gun from there really nice people they go out of their way to help you and you couldn't ask for better service are nicer people will be getting all my guns and ammo from them if you have a problem with anything they will fix it

The last time I dealt with Rob's I was a motivated buyer ready to purchase a specific item and said so up front. They did not have it in inventory and quoted a price I was fine with. I believe in buying locally to support small businesses. They didn't seem interested in finding it for me so I shopped it from out of state and got a better price then had it sent to Rob's to do the transfer. When the item arrived they were unhappy about it and mouthed about how they could have gotten it for me. I used to have great experiences dealing with Rob's and don't know what happened to their formerly good customer service, and I won't be back. Neither will any of my very large group of family and friends. I recommend Dunn's in Pevely for a great buying experience with exemplary service after the sale.
