Rockler Woodworking and Hardware - Bridgeton (St.Louis) reviews
5Friendly and helpful sales staff, good selection of wood turning projects and tools.
I have been coming here for a few years now and had generally positive experiences. I use a guild discount and have for some time. Today I was belittled for not having my "card" despite showing them the membership roster of said club with my picture and name on it. The aforementioned proof of my membership was not accepted or recorded in the logbook. Today was the LAST time I will visit. Other establishments will happily take my money.
I really loved this place and the 2 elderly people who are working there. They are absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. Hospitality is great.
I needed help with a rip cut. The guys are always friendly and helpful. One of them always has an answer or suggestions on how to do whatever I am attempting to do. This time it was Jerry. Great customer service.
This store has the worst customer service possible. First most of the staff are poorly trained and unfamiliar with the products you carry. I was in this store today and was asked by someone behind the register if I needed something, when I told him, his response was, “ya those are over on that wall”. No he did not leave his perch behind the register to help me. When I couldn’t find what I wanted I went back to the register to ask another question, the same person then started to ask questions which quite literally told me he knew nothing about what I was talking about.enter clerk number two, he started arguing with me about the instruction manual for one of you router jigs. He said “the manual says exactly what to do and I said no it does not. He then went to his trusty computer and looked at the manual and sure enough it didn’t properly explain the operation, to which he said “well I’ll have to mention that to someone. I then asked about some pigment I saw on your website, well this store doesn’t carry this product and know one knew anything about it. I was tired and exasperated so I left and went to Woodcraft. Low and behold I got everything I needed along with expert advice. Bottom line, I’m never going to Rocklers again
