One of the worst breakfast joints I’ve been too. We were the first people in at opening time, and we still waiting 35 minutes for our food. Food came out cold. Nothing special and will absolutely never be back. 0/5 stars.

I went for the first time to breakfast was a horrible experience. First the smell of rancid oil throughout the restaurant then burned coffee. The presentation and flavor of the food was not the best and to finish nobody from 4 people we could finish our food, more we all end up sick of stomach.

Wouldn’t go back again. Wait time was just over 35 minutes and other groups got seated before because they had bigger parties (even though we had been waiting).

Once seated, our server, Anthony N, came over after about 5 minutes. We ordered a pink paloma (pretty drink but flavorless) and French 75 (decent). We waited about 10 minutes for drinks.

Anthony finally returned with drinks and we finally ordered the seasoned black bean scramble and a g.b. L.t crepe. Food came out after about 30 minutes, which was not delivered by Anthony and of course after waiting 30 minutes, we were out of drinks. Seasoned black bean scramble was ok, but black beans were definitely not seasoned and the salsa was bland. Literally tasted like they were poured from a can. The g.b. L.t crepe was not good. The crepe had NO flavor and also lacked much filling. Even though tomato is listed in the name, there was one half slice of tomato, so essentially a bite. The goat cheese (saving grace of the crepe), was delicious and a decent amount of bacon. One slice of lettuce which was sliced into ribbons and on the edge of the plate along with “Rooster Mayo”.

Got just over halfway through our meal when Anthony finally returned to check on us. Ordered a corpse reviver and about 10 minutes later that came out (VERY TASTY), by a different person as well. Food was gone by then, so we waited another 5 minutes or so and Anthony returned. We asked for the check, which they have on their palm pilot, so no printout. And no option to review the bill. $59 after tip, and the quality of food wasn’t great.

Manager/Owner never came around to our table or any of the ones on the right side of the restaurant when you walk in. Would’ve definitely noted how slow the service was start to finish (1 hour) for two meals. I will say the table across from us had the biscuits and gravy, and one of the two biscuit sandwiches, which did look really good. But since we didn’t like our experience, we won’t be going back to find out.

Service was meh. The food was meh. My over easy eggs were overcooked and my toasted bread wasn’t really toasted. I’ve had much better breakfasts. Probably wouldn’t spend the money to eat here again.

Downtown location has a cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price. If you plan to visit on a Sunday, I recommend going early to get ahead of the brunch crowd rush.

To be honest we came for the Vegan Sampler, it's not a vegan restaurant nor does it Specialize in Vegan food, however we purchased it anyway. For me the meal was very heavy and oily the gravy is Amazing with their focaccia bread, the sausage was fine, the potatoes though tasty they were super greasy. The "vegan eggs" were Tofu and I only wish this noted. I did not partake in eating them. S/n the Grapefruit juice was NOT fresh and it is stated that way on the menu! Overall, if your not vegan then. However Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals regular meals!

Great comfort food and breakfast classics! Cute atmosphere boosting locally sourced ingredients. Had a mimosa since I was on vacay and the best coffee I had drank on the entire trip. It was a wonderful way to start the day before visiting the arch and taking a river boat cruise. Small location for how busy it is, but I think we received appropriate service given the circumstances. Would recommend if visiting St Louis!

The food was pretty good. I ordered the scrambler and asked them if they could make it into an omelette. Not sure why there wasn’t omelettes on a breakfast menu in the first place but it wasn’t a big deal as I still got what I asked for. The staff is nice but a little too laid back for me. My food was made very quickly and I appreciate that as I ordered take out so I was in and out. Overall, it was a decent experience but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Generous breakfast portions, nice local gem. Get there at opening time or you will be waiting in line. Multiple variations of eggs, crepes, French toast, pancakes and more

A little expensive and service is hit-or-miss, but the breakfast rooster slinger and the coffee were both quite good.good enough that I went back and tried the pork slinger and the farmer's platter. Note: the winner of the three was the rooster slinger.

We stopped here on our first day in STL right before visiting the City Museum (which you MUST visit, btw). The menu is full of non-traditional breakfast dishes, with a variety of breakfast cocktails and coffees. I ordered a scramble that was full of veggies, and rather than standard breakfast potatoes, the scramble was stacked on top of grilled potato slices. *Chef's kiss It was divine. I also ordered a Bloody Mary for the first time, which left me unimpressed, but this was not the fault of the restaurant. I think I'm just not that into Bloody Mary's.

Got the Pork Slinger and it was amazing. Great taste and the quality of the ingredients really comes out. It's a must try in STL

Absolute waste of a 35 minute wait. Kids pancakes were hard on the outside. Under cooked scrambled eggs. Bacon was saggy. Waitress didn't seem to care about the food issues.

Not bad if you like a very welcoming staff and excellent bloody marys offset by average food, dirty coffee cups, and slow service.

Food was pretty good, smaller portions than expected but the taste was on point. Wife got the crepes and was a little tough but didn't slow her down. I got the pork slinger and it was pretty good but wanted more. Also tried a mimosa the nonnie and it was delicious, a little small on the Oz to price ratio but didn't stop me from ordering 2 glasses. Would definitely go again!
