17I guess you have to dress the part to get quality customer service here. I walked in ready to buy a car today and felt oddly out of place. There were 5 sales associates standing right in front of me as I walked and all made visual contact but none approached me until I walked up to a female attendant who was kind enough to answer my question but never offered to help me. I walk back to my car and get in to leave and only then does a salesman come to my window and ask if he could help. Where was he 5 minutes ago when I stood on the lobby like a dummy! No thank you. BTW my credit score is a 789. Felt like Julia Roberts on Pretty Woman where no one wanted her money for her appearance. I like wearing sweatpants!
I am struggling just to give them (service department) 1 star. 2 weeks ago, I went to get an oil change at Roper. I have been dealing with them for 20 years plus. I have had issues with them over the years, but this last incident was enough that I would never go back. The oil change turned into a $500 repair done through another shop. When I took the car in there were no issues. I did notice, in the waiting room, there were a lot of people that were being told they also had different problems with their cars that they were clueless about. It's a money grab.
The staff at Roper Honda have always been helpful, honest and professional. Recently Lindsey was especially helpful when I needed a repair immediately while visiting from out of town.

Roper Honda gave us the best car buying experience we have ever had. They called us back and were available when we had questions. The delivery of our car was great and Brad stayed late on a Saturday to be sure we knew everything about the car before we left. We appreciated all the people who made sure that we got all the extras completed on the car before we left that same day. We would recommend this dealership to anyone.
Joplin Roper Honda has been amazing for me, I bought a Toyota from them about 5 years ago and I ended up having to trade it in for something newer and Arsen who has helped me with my toyota helped me with my KIA I just purchased and he went above and beyond to help me get into a newer vehicle. I will always recommend Roper Honda and their car salesman Arsen!
We were recently car shopping and went to several dealerships trying to decide on what vehicle would fit our family best. TJ was INCREDIBLY helpful and wonderful, he completely understood our family needs and was so patient with us when we had to bring our one year old daughter along for a test drive. TJ was amazing he showed us some really great options and I could tell he valued the importance of sticking to our budget and helping us get a safe and family friendly vehicle.
We actually didn’t end up buying a Honda but still loved the options that we test drove! We came to the lot multiple times, TJ was very responsive to any questions we had from home as well. TJ was great! We were also helped by another salesman and I wish I remembered his name but he was new and also was so helpful! So if you’re shopping for a new vehicle go meet TJ! We will definitely be back
I drove all the way over here from Kansas City MO. And I tell you what, Arsen when above and beyond for me! The dealership in general but Arsen’s customer service was spectacular! Highly recommended.
Wouldn't buy a vehicle here. I've bought 3 from dealerships and this place the salesmen lied. Started dealing with one then every step of the way I had to deal with a different salesmen who didn't know what the last one was talking about. Then couldn't give my wife a simple answer of where do I make a payment. Never doing business with this dealership again. Lucky yall dealt with my wife and not me at the point of Sale. Definitely ripped us off
Absolutely amazing! The people are friendly especially George! He helped me with everything and answered all my questions and we even held a conversation. Pretty cool guy! Definitely recommend the company itself as a whole and all the workers!
Not sure what experiences everyone else has had at Roper Honda in Joplin but based off our experience trying buy a car with them last week NEVER AGAIN!
We were using USAA (our bank and a reputable one at that) for financing because they gave us a good rate that we could afford. At the beginning they told us they didn’t like USAA because the way they sent their money ’took a while to come in’ but pushed their financing with a payment we couldn’t afford at all and just hope to refinance right after the purchase So I called USAA and right off the bat they offered to send a check and Roper said that was fine. Well we get to the end, close to leaving with said car and they ripped the rug right out from under us and were pretty much refusing to work with us because we were using USAA and continued to push their financing on us with the hopes to refinance through USAA afterwards. I called the bank and asked if they ever had this issue and she said yes that especially during covid and the weird car market that car lots wouldn’t work with people who had their own financing because they didn’t get that kick back. So long story short we didn’t give that shady place our business.
On the flip side it all worked out amazing though. I HIGHLY recommend Aspen Motor Company in Ozark. They are a small car lot but definitely worth the drive They were absolutely amazing and made the process so easy. Plus they were thrilled with who we were financing with because it made their jobs easier we got a much better deal and are super happy with our new baby!
TJ and the staff were very friendly with us. We were nervous at first because we had bad experiences in the past with some other area dealers so this experience with Roper was a pleasant surprise!
The service is second to none. Patrick takes care of his customers and that is why we only go to them. They are awesome
I bought a 2023 Honda Civic Sport from them and I absolutely love it! Best daily driver I have ever owned. The people there were amazing and professional. They want to make life time customers and it shows. They definitely got one. I cant recommend them enough! Best dealership in the area and maybe even in the whole united states. Plus they were the only ones to sell the Civic Si at msrp. Every car they sell is at or around msrp. So you definitely get the best deals by far. Also with that Honda reliability and life time warranty its a win win! Brad Neal was the best car sells man I have ever delt with and he made it such a pleasant experience to buy a car. He did everything in his power along with the whole building to give you the best deals along with working along side you every step of the way to make it happen. Definitely will tell all my friends and family who are looking for a new reliable car to go there first! It will save you so much time overall.
Best car purchase experience! Had to check with several dealership for the Pilot Elite color I’m looking for, Chris is so helpful throughout the process, helped us order the color and model we want and kept us updated for the delivery process.
