Rose Music Hall reviews
15A wonderful venue. The weather was perfect! You can bring your own chairs or blanket and pick your spot.
I have came here last year and again this year for the MidMo Pride festival and it is so much fun. The concerts are amazing and the drag shows are amazing! Although if there is lightning they will shut down, which is completely understandable. But yes definitely a lovely place, the bar tenders are sweet, security is nice, and most importantly their bathrooms are clean!
Absolutely incredible outside venue! What a gem, location is down town with lots of parking close by. Bring a chair, sit on the patio or toss a blanket down, it's guaranteed to be an epic evening. Top notch staff from security to bar tenders. Sound was perfect and even walked up an extra mono jack up to stage when the lead started to fail.almost seamless with little interruption to show. I will travel 2.5 hrs again for this venue and the incredible performances they host. I attended my second Willie Carlisle show, first time at this venue.
Always an awesome time. Great live music, good bar selection, and convenient to all downtown has to offer.
A great gateway between downtown and Arcade/stockyard areas.
3 visits have had 2 indoors and now one outdoors. All 3 have been amazing experiences. It gets crowded but never to the point of busting at the seams. Smallish indoor stage that fits the venue nicely. The outdoor area is definitely a gem in the urban setting. Well shaded and no issues being able to see. Plenty of porta potty that was clean. Beer prices are not bad with a nice selection of local and national options. Overall a nice experience and setting that I would have zero issues going back too
We love this venue, but this time, the bartenders inside seemed distracted by friends or regulars and the lines weren't moving as efficiently as usual. The Kay Brothers were awesome! We had a great time.
I have nothing but the upmost respect and admiration for Katie & the team at Rose Music Hall. I had the privilege to work with this team to plan, coordinate, and execute a wedding, and I could not have asked for a better venue team. This wedding had some crazy challenges specifically when it came to weather; however, Katie was incredibly flexible, accommodating, supportive, and collaborative throughout the entire planning process and even on the wedding day when storm cells popped up out of nowhere. RMH is setup to support your event no matter the weather; they are well equipped with tents, tarps, staff, and positive attitudes. Major shout outs to the ENTIRE staff at Rose. Rose Music Hall is one of the most unique venues I've worked at, and I hope it isn't the last time because the team did everything they could to make the wedding AMAZING. No thank you could ever do this team justice. Thank you all!
It's always a great experience though I wish you could start a tab with a card since they are cashless.
Too narrow and small to have a comfortable experience. Some outdoor venues are better if the weather is right. Sound is so messed up that you can't hear vocals. Only about 10 chairs
My wife and I were at Here Come The Mummies last night! Awesome venue! So many employees, lines went fast. I drive 100 miles to see shows here (9). It's always a great atmosphere! If you like funk, check out this band!
Great small venue. The main downside is that they do not allow chairs. This is a major downer for me as I have medical issues that prevent me from being able to stand that long, and it is extremely hard to get up and down off of the ground. Please consider allowing chairs.
There’s nothing more I love than watching live shows in Columbia, MO. Rose Music Hall is a gem of a venue, everyone who visits Columbia should visit Rose at some point.
Won’t let you bring in a cold drink but didn’t have cold water for sale. Won’t let you bring in something to sit on, even if you’re allergic to grass, but don’t provide enough seating. No ADA seating available either.
First time at this venue, and I really enjoyed it. My only complaint was that ADA was not sectioned off well enough, and people just flooded in and stood in front of everyone that needed to be seated. But they had plenty of rest rooms, they were clean and easy to get to for the ones that needed accessible bathrooms. The staff was great helping get us settled in and showing us where everything was.
This particular concert I had seen earlier in the week at a different venue. Because of this I was able to judge sound quality and Rose Park had an exceptional sound. The music was so clear and loud (it's not a good show if you don't leave with your ears hurting).
I will be back to see other shows here.
