Roubidoux Spring Campground & RV Park reviews
8The campgrounds were well taken care of and the grass was Mo but the shower house is a disgrace I've seen better and cleaner pit toilets than that mess they call a shower
Today was the Patriots Day Festival. It was pretty cool. I think the kids loved the face painting!
Great little city run RV park… has all needed utilities and hookups, but has no amenities… the park appears to be a seasonal park with lots of long term residents… we stayed one night as a place to sleep with a quick run to Fort Lenardwood.commissary for supplies.
Haven't experienced the campground, but love the Farmers market. The Medicare man is there every Saturday to answer questions and get you setup.
Nice gravel pads, full hook ups (50,30, & 20 amp). Not much shade. Right on the creek.
Decent city campground with lots of potential. This campground is very convenient and a nice space. The area where we stayed was newly paved so that the pull through pads were a normal sized gravel with the space that were normally grad being a large gravel. The bathroom/shower space is a portable building set up permanently and adequate. The problem was the electricity—according to our surge protector it was not grounded. This caused the protector to lock down to avoid damage to our RV. We could only get things to work by not using the protector. It makes no sense that a brand new area was not wired correctly.
This is a different kind of basic campground. It has full hookups, but the campground itself is mostly Rock. There is a decent amount of space between sites. There are no other facilities in the park. A few sites have a fire pit, but none have a picnic table. The greatest thing about it is that it is only $20 per night. This makes it good for just an overnight stay. I would stay again when passing through.
I caught a bunch of real healthy trout, the healthiest trout I've ever seen, I do catch and release, but it was awesome,! The staff I dealt with for the camping was extremely polite and upbeat, everyone I talked to was very nice! Highly recommend for and person or family unit! Thanks
