Route B Cafe reviews
13Regular diner atmosphere with fantastic food. We got the breaded tenderloin breakfast and ham breakfast plates and both were really good. Staff are polite and efficient; we arrived right at the lunch rush and still had great, speedy service!
Nice little family style diner. Excellent service from friendly staff. I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich with green beans for lunch, and I was impressed with the sandwich.
The waitress said they made them by hand using their own breading.
The green beans were a little bland even though I could see bacon and onions had been cooked with them.
Now I want to go back for breakfast and their Sunday buffet, lol.
They were very busy. The girls still made time to keep drinks full and ask if you need anything. Great people I will stop again
It’s a great place - in the country - to grab breakfast or lunch. There’s plenty of parking, but Sunday mornings can be busy. Their country fried steak, egg breakfast hits the spot.
The food is not as good as it was with prior ownership. Prices way to high for the quality of food
We sat at the counter and enjoyed the decor. The food was tasty. My strawberry pancakes had a delicious crème on them. The biscuits and gravy were full of flavor. They even made them without sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly.
Good portions for breakfast. We really enjoyed our meals. It is a very spacious diner. They didn't overcrowd the room with a lot of tables. We'll look for it on our next road trip.
Catfish disgusting, no seasoning in anything. The roast beef, like paper or shedding. Ugh gross
We had a wonderful waitress. She was so sweet and made sure everything was good. The food was delicious. I haven't been in a long time but glad nothing has changed. Some good hometown cooking and the staff is so inviting. Will be back soon.
3rd time stopping here on way between KC and STL. Good breakfast, quality and quantity and selection. Service is friendly and excellent too.
The crew and I hit this place every payday. The servers are awesome and the food is always great
The food is typical of what you'd find in a diner. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent, regardless how busy they are.
People complain about the smoking but it is in a separate room that one can simply avoid.
A local restaurant, homemade cinnamon rolls, hashbrowns were great, biscuits and gravy were bland. Portion size was good. Looks like on Sunday there is a fried chicken buffet. Super friendly staff. This restaurant has a smoking section but smoke free Sundays.
