Ruler Foods, St. Louis MO

One of the few Kroger outlets on the MO side of the metro. A pretty basic grocery experience: bring a quarter to use a cart, no bags provided, self-bagging and variable selection, but pretty decent overall. Fairly wide aisles, well-organized, and the prices are good (some price labels were inaccurate when I visited). Produce choices may be limited. They usually have good deals on dairy products.

Good as long as your expectations aren’t too lofty. It’s not Schnucks, but if you’re on a budget and willing to make compromises on brand it’ll do.

I have a good time with the family that has been a blessing to me and the things that are already expected for the rest will be fine for me to be a better way to get the things that I have to be with my way of the things that are available for me to be with my retirement groceries are provided to me and I'm very happy for the things that matter for me to live a good life.

I love Ruler food store on S. Grand. Great quality on food. Nice staff for past 9 months. The parking in front of store is for RULER FOOD and FAMILY DOLLAR, which that's not good. I wish FAMILY dollar Customers had to park on side. Allowing front parking spots be for the grocery store Customers

Ruler has been our primary grocery store for many years. It's like an Aldi but with Kroger products. Great prices, generally a good stock. Not a ton of vegetables but a decent amount and what they have is good. It's never too crowded. This is not a fancy grocery store, and it doesn't have every brand you're looking for. But it's our spot, and I definitely recommend it.

Hours say they are open until 8pm but they have been closed before 7: 45 pm on multiple occasions, with security locking the door and turning several people away. Should update hours/sign of they are not going to be open until 8pm

Dear Rulers, your staff has ALWAYS (4****are for the STAFF) been nice to me and my Aides especially on Oct 14th when I came in and Mrs. Norma Gene, who was soooo helpful to me and mentioned that her bday was Oct 13th, after I wished her a Happy Birthday. I then told her I too had a bday on Oct 13th and pulled out my ID.we both just laughed in amazement of it all now what are the odds of that happening. Because she was just being her sweet, polite self to me, we weren't even talking about bdays, I didn't even have any bday groceries etc.to even start the convo. God is so good). Mrs. Norma Gene is such a beautiful soul and I thank her for taking just a little time outta her day to put a smile on my face because you NEVER rrreally know TRULY what "lies" behind folks smiles Again thank you Mrs. Norma Gene and Happy Birthday my Libra Sis

HOWEVER, Rulers. I wish there were more of a selection of FRESH meats, fruits, and veggies to choose from though and there were a LOT of the frozen items not well stocked.even one of your workers overheard my Aide and I complaining about where were the seasoned potatoes overall I still shop there not so much for the items (all the times), but for your friendly, professional staff. Rulers I pray you're paying well cause MOral and MOney means a lot in StL, MO.ijs

I love this store. My only complaint would be you never have enough Mtn Dew. Even when it's listed as being on sale, there isn't any. Please stick more. Cans! Bottled Dew isn't the same.

Abel replaced a box of cat food for us that was bad, the manufacturer screwed up and sent expired food that was exploded. Abel the manager replaced it no problem. We love this store

Neighborhood store convenient great produce and.packAge meat section they have a few prepackaged vegan products black bean burger there rwo types of hummus otber dips and avocado dips and which is the best the vegan chicken is ok.they had non dairy yogurt only one day went back the following week to get more they didn't have and have not stocked up on it even today usually go To Wal-Mart or target for the non dairy yogurt. Not too big of a store usually find what i need You can bring you own bags or purchase one for $. 10 i bring my own and extra just in case i have too many items. Over all This is a great store.
