Rusty Rooster Cafe, Lake Ozark MO

My favorite brunch spot in the Ozarks! The owner is delightful, the waitresses are all super cool, and the food…the food is hands down THE BEST for brunch! The crab cakes eggs Benedict, the bacon lobster Gruyère, pancakes, gigantic cinnamon roll…honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything! And the drinks! The lake water mimosa is my favorite, and I also always get the espresso martini…perfection! Lastly, the little gifts are so perfect to bring home for friends who missed out, lol! Enjoy!

We left Bonnie's because of the rude staff and came here and had a nice experience. We ordered the lobster omelet and stuffed french toast and everything was delicious with large portions. The server was very attentive and nice. Definitely recommend!

Service was timely and friendly. Food was ok. Poached eggs were quite raw. Bloody Marys were good and not too spicy. Not a place we'll rush back to.

Cute cafe, very friendly staff. The country fried steak was delicious, and my kids really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Food came out super fast. Would definitely recommend!

I did some mental math and I’m pretty sure this is the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Everything ordered was delicious! We were greeted as soon as we entered and immediately seated. The entire staff was so friendly.

The chicken fried steak is likely the best I've ever had. Freshly prepared and fried, not frozen. The home fries you could tell were hand cut and fried up as well. The coffee is hot and fresh as you drink it and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The entire restaurant was clean and fresh smelling. Every time we visit Lake Ozark, we'll be having breakfast here. I'm sure the lunch menu is just as excellent. I'm glad my aunt recommended we eat here. One bit of advice, arrive early if you don't want to wait. They open at 7: 00 AM, we arrived at 7: 05.

Great food with lots of unique offerings, good coffee, good atmosphere and we were seated quickly evnlen though they were very busy.

Home fries was good and the plate was huge, thankfully we split our meal. Pancakes was good.

Came here for brunch.

Had shrimp and grits (phenomenal and unique). Wife had a steak and eggs breakfast (bland). So overall a decent meal. Steak was good and well seasoned buy the home fried potatoes were bland and without seasoning of any kind. Eggs were just that.though a but dry.

Service was good but a bit slow at times. Clean restaurant and bathrooms.

I'd return and try something different but would encourage their shrimp and grits to anyone.

5 stars all around! The food was simply amazing; I had the Pancake burrito and it was superb. A side of biscuits and gravy put it over the top. The waitstaff was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was inviting. Well done, Rusty Rooster!

Horrible, owner and wait staff are rude! Took about 40 minutes for our food to come out and when it did it was undercooked, horrible presentation, Cold and tasted burnt. In the 40 minutes we waited for our food the waitress never came back to ask if we needed more drinks or just check on us And when the food did come they never brought syrup and never came back to ask if I needed any even though they noticed when they brought the food And mentioned it out loud. Only one time in my life have I ever not tipped will this make two.
EDIT. I'M GUESSING THE OWNER GOT ME MIXED UP WITH ANOTHER GUEST? FIRST OFF THAT NEVER HAPPENED SECOND OFF I'M NOT SURE WHO YOU THINK I WAS BUT I WOULD NEVER SCREAM AND YELL AND MAKE A SCENE LIKE THAT. I AM VERY OFFENDED THAT YOU WOULD MAKE UP SOMETHING SO BAD AND ATTACH IT TO MY NAME!

Breakfast was well worth it. Food was excellent along with service. Would highly recommend.

Very good and the potions are MASSIVE, except it to be 2x bigger than you will think you will get. The staff is nice!

My favorite place to eat. The Food and service always great! So many wonderful options for breakfast and lunch! Even our picky kids never complain! Highly Recommended!
