RV Self-Park, Sullivan MO

Booking was easy, but supposedly none of the standard sites were available so had to pay an extra $2 for a deluxe site. Only 4 sites total were used that night so I have a hard time believing the standard sites were booked solid. Pro was easy in, easy out, but the concrete pad itself was super tight and barely gave us any room to step off of our steps. We felt the price was pretty high considering there were no amenities like a bathhouse or laundry. We were also disappointed by the Cousin Eddie rig that was parked next to us that was clearly a long-term tenant. I would probably only stay here again if I couldn't find anything else as I don't feel it was worth the money spent.

Easiest set up ever, all utilities compact, easy park to find and pull through spot and pad were top notch. Electric came on, on time as promised. Will definitely look for more RV Self Parks in our travels.

Tonight was our first stay at the RV Self Park. We loved it! We plan to stay here each year on our way to and from Phoenix. It is perfectly situated right off Interstate 44. Reservations are easily made online. You receive a confirming email which contains everything you need to know to get settled in your space. It even includes a link to multiple security cameras which allows you to see the monitors on your mobile phone. The sites and roads are fully paved and are spacious and relatively level. The utility stations for full hook ups are new and well positioned at each site. One of my biggest complaints at many other parks involves the crazy way they often position water spigots and sewer drains making it difficult to hook up. Not the case here. Everything is perfect to make your hook up as convenient as possible. I hope we begin to see more of these throughout the country. I’d like to own one myself.

Great location. Great sites. However billing is a SCAM! Website tells you $39.99/day while making selections. Then at vary end with no warning (unless you review the full break down) the site rate climbs to $52.99/day. On top of this they then add a "electric signature fee" and a "non-refundable PayPal fee. " Mandatory. I have no clue what an electronic signature fee is even for, except as a scam.
Adds another nearly $5 to the rate. What should've been $45 a day with tax is now $65!

SCAM. Especially as when making selections it specifically shows you the rate as $39.99 not $52.99. They're counting on you not noticing.

Website wasn't functioning to allow us to check in and pay on 11/17/23 so we had tonleave and finad another place to stop for the night.

Don’t waste time booking in advance. Had car issues and cancelled and requested refund and they denied refund. Would not recommend this to anyone. We have been raving for over 8 years and never had this issue anywhere before. Very disappointed with this company and the service.

This was a great place to spend the night with full hookups! Easy to park. A little hard to register online if you're super tired. We didn't register until we arrived.
Easy to hookup all the utilities (press the button on the left to hookup your sewer hose) No frills, just a place to stay, comfortably, for the night.

Traveling through and needed a place for the night. Found it using the Roadtrippers app. Booked and paid online. The hookup island “turns on” at your check in time. So basically the hookups are locked and once they “turn on” you can access them. (Push a lit button which allows you to slide up a cylinder to uncover the sewer, water works basically the same and the electricity pops on when you flip the fuse switch). It’s an awesome concept and works well. I must say that the best reviews come from an experience when there are problems or concerns. So…. When we arrived our “island” was not powered up. Hence, no
Hookups. We confirmed our date, time and site number through our email, all good. We called the number provided on website and email. It took about 30 minutes for a return phone call. They attempted to fix the problem over the phone, reset the server or whatever they did but to no avail. After an hour or so, someone showed up and had to reset the main electrical panel. All good after that.
I gave 5 stars because the place was clean, convenient, easy to book and they fixed the problem when it arose. They provided a link to the security cameras which was awesome! I would only suggest that they were a little more prompt and attentive when they receive a call. It’s my opinion that no one will call that number unless there is an emergency or problem so answering promptly would show good customer service. I realize it’s a self park deal but things happen when you have a
Business and someone needs to be available for issues promptly if they arise.
We would stay there again. We are full time RV so it’s likely. I hope more of these pop up around different areas.

This was exactly as advertised. Easy to book online and easy in and out for a overnight while on the road. Fair price for full hookups these days.

This place was amazing! We were headed back home to Oklahoma, we wanted to make it to Springfield but it was 10 pm and all of us were so tired. I looked on the map for rv camping near me and this was 25 minutes ahead of us. Rv self park was easy and convenient to reserve a spot. Nice and easy hookups, perfect for a quick over night stay, plus safe! Definitely will use yall again if we are coming thru here again!

Perfect for the quick overnight stop. Everything was just as described on their website. Will definitely stop here if passing through the area and definitely recommend if you're in need of a stop over. Hope they add more locations!

Good place to stay. The only things I didn't like were being woken up before the sun came up by dogs barking from the neighborhood. The dogs barked for hours.

The only thing is the sreet behind the rv park they have dogs that will wake you up at dawn and will not stop barking for hours

Very convienent and reasonably priced when you plan ahead! I reserved in advance knowing i wanted to be in that area to test my new to me rv. About a hrs.drive from St. Louis and right on my route back to Az. I was able to adjust my reservations several times and had to contact booking when i ran into some unexpected problems w my rig. They were very helpful and nice about the situation. There is road noise but that didn't bother me at all!

Excellent idea and what a great place to drop anchor for a night or two. Clean, organized, easy to book and pay on line, paved level pads with excellen quality hookups. Easy in. Easy out. Great flexible pricing for length of stay. There needs to be more of these.

Great concept, very convenient for a quick overnight for those passing through. Felt very safe staying the night. No frills or amenities but if you are looking for a safe, level spot, with full hook ups then I would recommend. We have stayed here for two years in a row now when we are making our cross country trip. Will be back again next year!
