My 6.5 year old loves visiting Dr. Lauren Hansen to check on her new eye glasses. She asks when can we go back. A true professional.

My appointment was handled professionally, promptly and courteously by the staff at the Sabates facility I visited. Each employee was friendly and showed interest in me as a patient.

Careful professional care coupled with a determination to find a solution to whatever eye problem you're having.

Staff was more concerned about me not having health insurance rather than the open-angle glaucoma occurring in my eyes. I expressed to them my eye insurance would cover the bill due to having additional medical coverage. Every person who ran tests on my eyes mentioned the absence of my health insurance before introducing themselves including Dr. Pikey. He was also very short and vague with me regarding the details of my condition as if I was not intelligent enough to understand the terminology. My appointment felt like a fast food restaurant rather than a specialist visit. I was excited to come here because of the great reviews however I will be taking my business elsewhere to a place that will actually care about finding a solution.

The people are very caring and friendly, and I highly recommend this center. Dr. Lauren Hansen is the best. She is very patient, takes time to examine your eyes, and explains every step of the process.

If you are of color, run. Billing department would not give me a good faith estimate which is listed on their website. Had to beg the doctor to review my own medical records. Waste of time. Thankful I grabbed a pamphlet to educate myself on glaucoma since they had a hard time explaining it to me. I asked how can we prevent pressure from getting too high in the eyes and the answer I received was “eat green vegetables and exercise”. Also asked how is glaucoma treated and received the answer of “with a laser”. In the pamphlet, it broke down the different types of surgery’s available. Basically paid to educate myself I guess very unhelpful and did not seem to care.

I have been visiting the Sabates practice for 25+ years. They only had a couple of locations then. Then and now I always receive courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable “handling” by everyone working in the Sabates office. I always enjoy my visits. I appreciate the convenient locations all over the metro area. I can choose a Sabates location close to home or travel a bit, and I always receive the doctor and the consultation that is perfect for me.

They all are very caring and I really like going here. I have tremors in my neck and they are all very helpful to me. If I need pictures taken they will hold my head for me. I highly recommend this place

Still continue to get great service from Sabates Eye Center. Yesterday I needed to see an ophthalmologist soon for an eye condition and they were able to get me in the same day.

Went in for a quick health scare, got seen right away by a quick and lovely staff, and had all tests and diagnostics resolved same-day! Highly recommend Neil Shah!

I have seen several eye specialists in the past and none of them could figure out what was going on with my eyesight until I went to Sabetes. I did go through a few doctors at Sabetes but they didn’t give up on my strange sight that I was explaining. Pulling of the macula is how it was described and the pictures were shown to me so I could see them. I put off surgery for a couple of years as it wasn’t so bad and they did keep up with it but my other eye developed a hole in which surgery was done right away. That has healed wonderfully and my eye with the macula pull is scheduled for surgery in July. They have been wonderful and I recommend them highly. A wonderful group of surgeons, nurses and schedulers.

Dr Shah is kind and competent. He listens so you do not have to tell him over and over about what is going on and he does not “stonewall” by giving you answers that he gave you before.he does not try to rush you through your answers but listens patiently. I am finding that a lot of doctors around here talk and don’t listen. I loved dr. Nelson who no longer comes north but I know he would not have anyone under his name who was not good. Dr shah is great and very thorough.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Best eye doctor experience I’ve had. Switching my entire family here.

I was 7 years old when I started wearing glasses and have been severely nearsighted my entire life. As a kid I would pray a miracle would happen and I would wake up and be able to see clearly. Well, I think Dr. Pikey is a miracle worker! My cataract surgery was flawless and I can see 20/20 without glasses! The surgery center staff were so nice! It takes a lot of trust to let someone operate on your eyeballs and I definitely trust Dr. Pikey! ️️

All staff members were patient with my questions and gave on-point answers, I felt comfortable in their clinic. So glad I ran into nurse Erica whom we were impressed by her friendliness, gentleness while Hubby was treated at her other Sabates clinic. I couldn't remember her face and name but recognized the gentle voice right away. What a special young lady!

Sabates is a very nice place to visit for all of my vision needs. I had the pleasure to be consulted by Dr. Abraham Poulose, one of the doctors there that helped me get through a laser surgery (photocoagulation) procedure to fix tears in my retina. He is also a great doctor to just "talk" with to make the visit more comfortable. The staff is also very courteous and make scheduling appointments a breeze! I highly recommend Dr. Abraham for sure and checking this place out.

Absolutely the most outstanding, organized, and professional medical practice EVER! The doctors, nurses, and administrative staff were THE BEST! Thank you for making a scarey procedure a piece of cake!
