Can't talk to a human on the phone. So I really don't know how the service is because I couldn't make appointment or get quote.

I had a massive crack in my windshield and needed a replacement. Setting up my appointment online was easy, I got a $50 off promo code, and the price was reasonable. The service I received was fantastic. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, and I drove away with my new windshield within 40 minutes. Wayne was the installer, and he was very fast and efficient. He went over all the details about the installation, gave me a brochure. I immediately noticed the quality of the services I received on my vehicle. It looks flawless! Office staff was kind and efficient. Great place.

Front desk people were extremely friendly. When I came to pick up my car, they handed me my keys and some paper work and said I was good to go. When I got home I noticed they curb rashed my wheel. I called and left a message. I never heard anything back and just recently got a letter in the mail saying I owe them $50 and if I didn't pay it within 10 days I would be sent to collections.

This was an excellent experience. Booked appointment in advance through Nationwide Insurance. Friendly and efficient receptionist. My technician was great too. He closed me out after cleaning all my windows and floor mats.and he fixed the spot on my windshield too.

We have (had) a fleet account with Safelite. We have probably had 20 to 25 windshields replaced over the last 5 to 7 years on our fleet of vehicles using Safelite (over 20 vehicles in the fleet). We will never use Safelite again. Being in the service industry, when we need to have a windshield replaced, the vehicle and the technician must sit idle-which means we are losing revenue and we are unable to respond to our customer's needs. So, obviously, it's important that appointments are kept or we receive some type of communication if there is a need to reschedule.

We scheduled an appointment about a month out for a mobile repair. As usual, we were given a 6 hour window (12 to 6pm) -Is a 6 hour window really the best they can do? Our technician did receive a call from the Safelite tech the morning of the scheduled service verifying the service and he indicated he would likely be on site around 1: 00 pm. He never showed up. Around 5: 00 pm we received an email saying, "success, your appointment has been rescheduled for a later date"? We did not request the appointment be rescheduled and apparently Safelite just randomly choose a later date for the rescheduled service. We called Safelite's "customer service". They provided numerous apologies and promised a management member would call us back to discuss the situation, but no one ever called. After a couple of days, we tried calling again because we had two services now pending both of which were pre-paid. Again, we were promised a call back-nothing. Finally, after another call to customer service, we requested a refund on both pending services and told them we were no longer going to do business with them.

Bottom line, this is a flawed company. From upper management, down to the local stores, there is a complete lack of respect for their customers. It seems apparent that as long as their huge marketing budget keeps more business coming in the front door than is exiting the back door, they are content.

If you value quality customer service and good communication when doing business, this is not the company to work with. In particular, avoid the location on North Oak Trfwy in Kansas City/Gladstone.

I had Safelite out in June to repair a small chip in my windshield. The technician not only managed to not repair my windshield, he cracked my windshield and now the whole thing needs to be replaced. I was told the charges I had already paid would be refunded. A month and a half later and 3 unanswered emails, it still has not been refunded. I run a business with a large fleet and we used to call them for repairs. Not anymore. Never will use them again.

Thank you, Michael, for doing an Absolute professional job on my windshield replacement. I didn't even have to deal with my insurance company. I did get many emails on the updates when the tech was to show up at the house, but it didn't take but an hour an here is a few pictures of before an after

If I could give them a zero I would. To make a long story short. Going on 3 weeks still not close to being fixed. My wife took days off to get windshield fixed each time we dropped off her car we got called back that the windshield had a blemish. TWICE. Two windshields/two blemishes? They couldn’t tell us before dropping of the car twice? So our time, money, and PTO used up for nothing. Unorganized and unprofessional.

I had an appointment for a day. The day before my appointment I got an email stating that they push the appointment out three weeks, doing so because they were too busy.

My insurance agent told me to expect a call from Safelite, and I got a call from a scheduler right away. She was very personable and friendly. They got me in at my convenience with good explain for dropping my vehicle off the night before. I was notified when it was done as agreed. I picked it up and payed the amount I was told it would be without hassle. But the best thing of all? When I got in my Jeep, it smelled nice. That is the icing on the cake! Good job everyone!

I've been trying to do a warranty claim on a windshield replacement. SafeLite connected with this location as they did the work. I was told to bring the vehicle into the shop. I took it in only to be told the manager wasn't in and he would call me. No call. I've tried to speak with someone over the phone, but now, every time I go through the automated system, I get disconnected when trying to reach customer service. SafeLite replaced two windshields and damaged one vehicle in the process and failed to replace a gasket on the other. Shameful

They couldn’t have been better. They were quicker than they promised and the personal service was second to none. A breath of fresh air when it seems personal service is gone.

Wow. It really takes quite a bit to write a bad review. I had a Safelite tech come fix my broken car window yesterday. I trusted that things had been done properly. However, I was able to inspect the car later and found 1) the molding around the window had not been put back on inside and outside of car, 2) car door speaker was hanging off 3) glass inside the window ledge and door rattling like maracas 4) glass all over my driveway 5) glass on my seat and arm rest.

I lost a full morning (8 am to 1: 30 pm) waiting for the job to be done. I then had to come back the following day to get it redone and am waiting now. I have taken off work both days that I can’t afford to do.

I asked the manager to help me out with the cost of having to take off work both days. I paid 454 dollars, and was able to get 75 dollars off (if they were able to get it “approved”). No immediate resolution. No apologies. Instead, the manager tried to blame some of the issue on me, saying that the preinspection check showed that the speaker was out slightly already. That was not true.

I’m blown away at the lack of craftsmanship and quality of customer service. Given how poorly this job was done, I actually deserve a full refund.

Easy appointment, coordinated with my insurance company, and sent out a tech to my house. Brian did a fantastic job repairing my cracked windshield. Two thumbs up
