Best sushi & grill around Joplin! Our server Malaki B.was very nice & great service! This our new favorite place to dine at!

Consistently grwat service and food at very reassonable proces for the quality and service! We eat here regularly.

Nice little sushi place off the main road. No hibachi, but has good sushi rolls and bento boxes are pretty good. Pretty quick service at a fair price.

This was my first time here and my first time eating sushi and I was very pleased with both experiences. I went with my server's suggestion of a bento box of two selections. With tempura shrimp and salmon roll, both were outstanding in taste and very fresh. Service was spot on, I could not have been more pleased with my first experience. Quite lovely decor as well.

The food has always been really good. I don't have the experience to judge sushi but I can say it was really good and more than plenty for a meal. It's the only place we go for sushi locally because it's always delicious.

Such a great place! First time eating there and service was fantastic, dining room was clean and food was great! Staff was very friendly and welcoming! We went for lunch and had their steamed dumplings, General’s chicken, orange chicken, Spider roll and Chirashi Bowl. Dumplings were perfect and by far the best we have had in Joplin. Orange chicken and General’s Chicken were also some of the best. The Spider roll was amazing! Portions were very good too. My only issue was the Chirashi bowl. For the price, I would have expected a few more pieces of sashimi. Ichiban was my favorite for getting a Chirashi bowl. I was hoping this place could fill that void. Unfortunately, Sakura’s Chirashi seemed lacking. My recommendation is to remove the lettuce and add Wakame, maybe some Spicy surimi, and a few pieces of unagi. But that’s just me and my personal preference.

Chirashi aside, the place was amazing and exceeded our expectations!

Definitely one of our new favorites!

We will definitely be returning to explore the rest of their menu!

Came in today for my birthday dinner.and it was super delicious as per usual. Great service as well.

Still absolutely delicious, our server today was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, she made some great suggestions and was super kind and patient with us. She took amazing care of us, she went above and beyond, our server overheard it was daughters birthday, so she surprised our daughter with ice cream. Excellent service, excellent food, extra clean. Can't go wrong here.thank you guys, we will return soon.

First time there, had sushi rolls. Good pricing, food was very good. I would recommend giving it a try.

Best sushi in Joplin. I didn't say anything else, but if you want sushi, this should be your only place.

The portion size does not disappoint, you get your bang for your buck. The staff was amazing and the restaurant was clean and inviting.

12/14/22 Update-the food was great. Getting faster service. In and out in a timely fashion. I would recommend this restaurant to people now.
Preorder does not work at this restaurant. Manager rude to employee and customers. Order was wrong for 5 people. For people that have a timed lunch (1 hr) do not come here.
3/3/22 update food take still a little long, waitresses do not come back to check if everything is OK. Ask for utensils and maybe they will be back. A little better than last time.

Brittany R was my server and I asked for a sushi roll with no tuna and it came out with tuna and she did not seem to care so I felt as though I shouldn't either. I was stuck with paying extra for something I wouldn't eat.

So clean, organized, and such a friendly staff! A wide variety menu and plenty of food to take home for leftovers! I will be coming here at least a few times a year their food is so good and the inside environment is pleasant and I didn’t feel rushed to finish my food like some restaurants try to do. I wish I coulda eaten more but I was just so stuffed and I still had at least half of my roll left and over half my fried rice left! 11/10 stars y’all!

Walked in, waited to be seated for about 5 minutes. No server came by although they definitely saw me. If the food is anything like the service I would not recommend

My hubs loves taking me out for a special treat and Sakura Sushi in Joplin is awesome food and entertainment!

Love Sakura Sushi. Some of the best we have had and the combinations are exactly as we like.
