There are many reviews about this place, and they are either really good or really bad. And let me tell you from someone who has gone here for years what my option is. They have a great selection of cookie and cake decorating supplies. They are well stock most of the time, and for how small the store is, they are somewhat organized. But the comments about how the employees are rude are absolutely true. They have been rude to me more than once, and I have seen them be rude to other customers on more than a few occasions. I guess since I was also always able to get what I needed and I have thick skin, I just kept going for years. I have found I different store now on Gravois, and they have just as much if not more selection and the staff is friendly and helpful. Life is too short to be rude to people, and there are other stores out there.

It was a great place to go. They have anything you might need to do cake decorating.

My Mom stopped by Sallie’s today to inquire about printing edibles. The man at the counter was incredibly rude. While she understood that Sallie’s could not print what she wanted due to trademark laws, the man didn’t have to be so rude about it! This is the second time we’ve had rude service in this shop. If you want exemplary customer service, do not shop here!

The staff is always so friendly and willing to help. Usually, when I go and am the only one in the shop, so they always help me find whatever I'm looking for. They have a wide variety of cookie cutters and food coloring options. Some other bits and bobs, too, if you are looking for something specific.

I was in over the weekend and at first I thought the place was lovely. Very clean and well organized considering how much merchandise there was in the place. I thought it was lovely until a asked the lady behind the counter a question. She was so short and rude. Didn't answer my question and just moved on to something else like it didn't matter. I for some reason continued looking around and found what I was looking for on my own. After I saw her treat another customer with the same rudeness I put my ideas back and left. I am always willing to spend more a buy from a local business but I will not buy from someone who is rude with a can't be bothered attitude. I went to Joanne's and the lady there was very helpful and sweet. Very very disappointing. 12/10/2022

Staff very helpful, knowledgeable of their inventory, able to find exactly what I was looking for. Also found cute little turkey decorations for brownies, love this store
