Sasha's Wine Bar, St. Louis MO

Four of us enjoyed a midweek lunch. All entrees were shared with relish - pizza, paninis, chopped salad, and wine. Eco-friendly carryout containers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff AND convenient parking.

This wine bar was bumping on a monday! Great atmosphere and amazing wine selection. The service seemed a little slammed but still super kind and helpful. They played good music and it just seemed like a fantastic neighborhood spot.

Our service was extremely poor. We were seated on the rooftop (which is a great atmosphere) but once seated, we did not have anyone come check on us for almost 30 minutes.

We ordered a bottle of wine and spinach and artichoke dip. We received the bottle of wine but after 45 minutes, hadn't received our spinach and artichoke dip. As this point we asked for the check and left. Great atmosphere, horrible service. We won't be back.

All my experiences here have just been mediocre. It should be cool. It's in a cool area, it's near a college, has a nice patio and rooftop, but it just never meets expectations.

On our most recent visit the service was pretty rough. Server said he would be right back to get our drink order and then disappeared for 10 minutes. There were like 2 other tables with people in the whole place. We got our first round alright, but then had a struggle getting our second. My wife had to ask for her drink a couple times, after someone else with us got there's. And another guy with us never got his drink at all.

I also may be aging out, but the music was way too loud for a bar with 10ish people in it. I was a little surprised how dead it was being a Thursday night, but whatever.

Because of how dead it was, we did get rockstar parking right in front. If it were to get busy in this area parking can be more of a challenge.

Had a lovely evening at Sasha’s with friends. Great wine selection, delicious crepes, and wonderful service from the newest member of the Sasha’s team, Carsen!

Management runs a parasitic skimming scam on staff gratuity, patrons, overpay, and are underserved, unwittingly participate.

We had wine and appetizers this evening, and the service was awful. Sat at the bar and there were plenty of staff members. Bartenders would walk by rarely checking if we needed more wine when our glasses were empty. At the end of the evening we asked for a check and it took 20 minutes to get only after asking a second time from another server. Again, there were plenty of bartenders, walking by and completely ignoring us. Our empty plates sat in front of us for at least 40 minutes after finishing our food and we’re never picked up. May be an off night, but this place won’t be on my list to return to anytime soon.

Enjoyed the crabcakes, hummus plate and spinach artichoke dip. Love the new rooftop! Can't wait to go back on a nice day. They also have live music.

GREAT atmosphere. The service staff is horrible, but I think it probably just because they are short staffed. I get that. But the food and location make it worth it. Just go in and be ready to wait and be ignored. As long as you are not in a hurry and have good friends to talk to, you will have a wonderful night.

Hands down the best place to grab a glass of wine and catch up with a friend. Food is excellent. Great wine and beer selection. Cocktails are awesome. Especially nice on a summer evening as they added a rooftop patio during the pandemic. I would give Sasha’s 6 stars if I could.

Bad food quality. Poor service. You have to waive and ask again and again for a simple water refill. Very salty pesto pizza and when we ask for a different one (no way you can eat that pizza unless you want a heart attack that day), the waitress says ‘’oh they are many salty items on this pizza’’. Olives are so not supposed to be very salty, feta cheese is not salty and pesto isn’t either so I don’t see how you want to act like you know in food and criticize my opinion about very salty pizza with ur incompetence in food tasting.
Not coming back.

My husband and I were excited to check out Sashas for the first time since we heard good things. The vibe was cool and drinks were fine. However the food was not. We got the Bruschetta first which was honestly probably the best out of everything we got. Then my husband wanted to try the goat cheese dip. It was ok. For our dinner we decided to split the steak and crab and asparagus salad. The steak had no flavor, along with the potatoes it came with and the salad looked like a child had made it (and was not very good). I couldn't believe the salad was $21.absolutely overpriced for what you get.
Overall VERY disappointed in the food. We will not be returning.

I’ve never been disappointed here. Amazing food, drinks, staff. Levi is incredibly attentive, and personable. I will always come back! Top notch

Tried to have a lunch on a Friday before my wedding, and the Staff (after poor online communication from management) advised they would charge a minimum of $50 per person, without emailing a copy of the menu, even the young children of the group, with no exceptions. When I was there in person to discuss this arrangement, the bartender was dismissive and seemed distracted, even though there was almost no one else to serve. This begs one to question why a business would turn away guaranteed revenue. We are taking approximately a thousand dollars of business to another place merely a block away, who happily accepted our plan and showed us a menu and possible table layout. We have 100 guests staying in town at a nearby hotel and will be sure to guide their money and business to other establishments as well.

Walked in and no one at the bar or anywhere acknowledged us, not a “we’ll be right with you” or anything. Just kinda looked at us. So waited there for a while. And waiter ignored us most of the night and wasn’t friendly. Had to ask for another round of drinks even though he passed our table quite a few times! It was my husband and I, we were dressed up for an early valentines celebration dinner. We’ll be choosing somewhere else next time ‍️

I have been going there for years but first time discovering the rooftop dining and bar area.

Food and wine always great!

Great seating indoor and out. Items can be a bit pricey but you really get a fancy feel to this location. The ambience does not match the price though. More of a bar feel inside but you can order a salmon or trout plate. No speciality drinks but good selection of wines.
