Savannah Family Restaurant reviews
15Restaurant is always cold, but really need heat on during the winter. Temperature outside is 4 degrees, and only 65 in the restaurant.
Went for the all you can eat Walleye. The fish was pretty good but just a tad greasy but still good. Salads a pretty good size and fresh. Baked Potato I had was pretty good. The service was good and friendly. I would recommend it for this. I haven't tried anything else yet. They had a display case full of good-looking desserts.
Me and my family stopped in and had breakfast for dinner the night we came into town. We all ordered something different, and it was all delicious. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good home-cooked meal.
My car was getting worked on next door at the mechanic shop and so I first went in for breakfast and it was delicious the waitress staff was super nice and welcoming. Then I found out that my car was gonna need towed. So we went back for lunch. There was one issue with my food and it was fixed immediately. The waitress was still super nice. Then they let us sit and drink coffee while we waited what seemed like forever for a tow truck. Absolutely recommend stopping in for a meal.
All's a good place for home cooked meal. Wasn't happy with the pie though. I think it was to old.
We happened upon this nice local restaurant during a quick trip to Savannah this evening. Very friendly staff. Good sized portions and quality meals. Would visit again!
Mom really loves their pancakes. They treat her like family, putting requested strawberries on top and they bring her the whole can of whipped cream so she can pile it on! Great family atmosphere
Restaurant was very busy when we arrived. Our waitress was so friendly and personable. Kept our glasses filled and checked on us a lot while waiting for our order to be prepared. Food was delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.
Good place to eat. We go here a lot. Only thing I wish they'd do is update the website showing their hours of operation because it's showing open till 9 pm daily and I've made multiple trips in to eat and they've been closed and I've had to drive all the way into st Joseph to eat
My husband and I came from St. Joseph to eat, and we will be back. Good food, portions, and price.
I would not recommend. I should have stuck to our regular breakfast spot but thought we’d try something different.
When we walked in we were greeted quickly. Drinks were served quick even though mine was sweet tea when I asked for unsweet (just a mistake).
We set for 40 min before getting food. We didn’t order steak or anything that required extra wait time. My over medium eggs were little more than over medium but I am actually ok with that. My hash browns were barely warm let alone cooked. The gravy that was ordered was just warm not hot. The French toast was not much bigger than a fork (see pic). I never received a drink refill. We never got a ticket to pay we just had to go to the front to pay but was not told this until we got up to ask. There was a gentleman that got up and got a pot of coffee to serve himself and all the older men in the restaurant. The server was irritated by this but she was unable to keep up and when this took place not a single person had food so her only responsibility was to fill drinks. I watched several older men and women have to walk up and get a coffee refill. The server was overwhelmed with her tables (she was not the only server) and this place is not very big.
The crowd of people we nice and polite.
We have been a few times and its not good or bad, the service depends on who you get. However we went on mothers day, expecting a wait no problem, but after waiting 15 minutes they seated some group that came in right away. They must have known each other. The so called manager got defensive when asked why and later on the phone screamed at us. She said its mothers day so were busy, gave a table to 3 men while my wife and baby got passed over. Horrible lady.
First time here and there is a pretty big menu. I got the cowboy burger and it was tasty. We got our food pretty soon after ordering. Their fried pickles are alright, nothing bad about them just I have had better.
This place has good food. The day we went, the service was a little behind, but they were swamped. It had a good atmosphere, the staff was very friendly. Would recommend
