School of Rock reviews
8As a long time dabbling musician myself who learned the most from jamming with friends, I appreciate that this is in large part the model used by SoR. There are still the "formal" lessons, but those are reinforced by learning how to perform with others, how to blend and complement one another, and of course the ever useful, "Hey.show me that lick! That rocks! " What a great concept! The Parkville staff is phenomenal with a great mix of talented musicians who love to teach and are great role models for the kids as well. Erin is an efficient and able administrator who is a joy to interact with. Given our daughter's schedule, we've had to re-arrange lessons a few times, and it's always been an easy fix. They truly understand the flexibility required to manage teenager schedules. We're big fans of SoR! Keep up the great work!
We love the team of rockers ready to help our kids out. We’ve been coming here for a few years and everyone is so helpful and kind and wonderful. We’ve been suggesting to anyone we know with kids who like music to come here.
One-on-one sessions are highly individualized and rehearsals encourage my son to stick with it. Everyone at SoR is an expert/friendly/helpful. It’s the best choice to nurture my son’s passion for music
My family and I went here for the Halloween open house they were having and it was an amazing experience! We were able to play music and hang out with the employees it is definitely now a yearly tradition.
Instructors are great with aspiring young musicians! Courteous and respectful to the students with high expectations.
SOR personalizes the practices to help each individual find their niche. It's been great to see my daughter advance her knowledge and skills.
Do not go here if your child has ADHD, which is a neurological disorder. They will never advance past rock 101 due to minor behavioral issues even with the talent to advance.
