Screamin' Eagle reviews
7Best ride in the whole park, its worth it to sit all the way in the back or the front, those are the best seats. Been going here for like 8 years, hands down my favorite.
This coaster is a classic! Depending on the day, sometimes it's a little painful! Good airtime. Usually not too much of a line. It's super fun to Zip thru the woods, and you get a great view of the park at the top of the lift hill. One of my kids loves this ride! One of my kids won't ride it because it gives her a headache! There is always a nice sitting spot near the entrance with shade and benches.
This is "the" classic wooden roller coaster at Six Flags St. Louis, and it is still a great ride even as it approaches 50 years old! It's not a complex track layout, but it boasts some great air time, and although it has the expected wooden coaster jerkiness, it is FAR easier on your body than its newer wooden neighbor, The Boss. There usually isn't too long of a line here, probably because it's at the back of the park and takes some hiking to get to.
Would rank it as the 2nd best wooden coaster in the park. (Summer 2023) We walked right on. The ride operators did a good job at this one. The coaster itself is a bit rough, but it isn't unbearable. It would be nice if they would retrack portions of it though to smooth things out.
Screaming Eagle at Six Flags St. Louis is ok. The first drop can have some airtime but after that, it is just pretty average. I would go on it, if there was a very short line.
This is definitely a classic. It is the best wooden roller coaster in the park! Like all wooden coasters, it is a little bumpy. This roller coaster is definitely more of a thrilling roller coaster. All in all, a great roller coaster.
My favorite wooden coaster from this park. Very smooth, nice layout, I can see why this coaster broke a world record.
