Señor Tequila reviews
21Pretty decent food, and good bang for your buck. The meat has a pretty strong charred flavor, almost too much but not quite. The salsa and chips were good, and so we're the rice and beans which is really saying something because rice and beans are generally nothing special. These weren't mind blowing but they were better than average. We enjoyed the service and the tacos. This was a good experience overall.
They are rude. Order 62.00 of food for delivery and never got anything but they got my money and not giving it back didn't call me called delivery couple times they did noone came for the food well you could of called me I kept trying to call but nobody answered. Rude people in there never again my business else where. I did get my 62.00 back from menufy.thanks for nothing
Took my sister for her birthday lunch. All these years up North and hadn't tried this place! Excellent Mexican and great prices and friendly staff.
Very VERY good. Chile Relleno Poblano was different than I've have before but it was still good! Tamale tasted just like my childhood friends abuela used to make. Tastes like home. The fried ice cream.it was the best we've ever had. The guacamole was also perfect. Fresh and flavorful but not spicy. If we lived here I could see us eating there once a week.
I ordered the el Gordo
Ultimate and I could
Not tell what I was eating it looked like hog slop I sent them pics and
I told them I didn't want free food or money they sounded like McDonald's bring use your food they know what they did I would never recommend
This place but it was good years ago that's why I ordered it
Food was fine, only two other family's there, tryd to stick us right next to them. I don't particularly like eating right next to strangers. Asked to get different table, the guy hostess kind of rolled his eyes as if I'm being a pain. Just to let you know there is a pandemic going on called Covid + I don't appreciate being stacked like cattle just because the staff is to lazy to walk 15 extra feet. Just a little friendly advice.
They don’t like gringos! 6 white people walk in and they don’t serve us chips and salsa not get us drinks. They stare at you and wait for their next regular to walk in. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
If you want real authentic Mexican food! And a stomach full of amazingness this right here is the place! All the staff are super friendly and nice. AA+
I love this place. This particular day we had a waiter that seemed like he didn't want to be their or he didn't like his job. Very rude. Usually staff is great and food is good.
I recently rediscovered this longtime favorite, it's as good as it always was, serving both staple and unique Mexican style dishes. Fast, friendly service.
Honestly was great food and the margaritas were great and strong but service was terrible and got our orders wrong twice
Best enchiladas I ever had were in Moab, UT. I’ve been on the hunt to find an equal since returning to Kansas City. This place may be it. Get the enchilada mix dinner and you will be in heaven.
Update: I am updating my review. These are the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. This is the place.
Food was good, service was slow
I didn't really care for the salsa, but the chips were great. The main course was very good, but took a little too long to arrive. The place was not crowded and there was no wait time to be seated, but we had eaten about half the chips before the waitress came for the first time to take our drink orders. We had already decided what we were going to order, so we placed our food order with our drink order.
When she brought the check, it would have been nice if she had said that we pay up front. We sat there with my credit card sitting on the check for at least 10 minutes and no one came by at all. We finally decided to just see if we could pay by the front door, and that is apparently how they want you to do it there. We ended up being there over an hour and we did not order appetizers or desserts. In that time I got one drink refill and my wife got none.
On the plus side, the food was good and I liked the decor. We were at a booth in a section where there were about 4 glass garage doors, which must be very pleasant when the temperatures are good for outdoor dining.
Update 5/3/2022:
They've definitely improved. Their service was quite good this time, despite food service labor shortages that are rather prevalent right now.
Food was excellent as always but our server was less than thrilled to be there. Didn't expect her to sing and dance but a less than rude disposition would have been nice. Normally service is as good as the food.
Ok well.we ordered a pitcher of margaritas, and after a glass.we find a fly in it.
Then.after that.a hair in the nachos. Do not recommend
My friend and I frequented this restaurant about twice a month before the COVID shut down. My friend was the fan. I became a big fan recently. They either changed their chef or their food vendors. But for some reason Their food improved 1000%. I highly recommend them now.
One order of fajitas are enough for 2 people and are absolutely the BEST FAJITAS I have ever tasted. They have really good chips and the salsa rocks. Highly recommend.
We've been looking for a go-to Mexican restaurant since ours closed. Senor Tequila is great! Super friendly service and the food is good. Great cheese dip and fajita nachos!
First time there and it was fantastic. Chicken was nice and moist. Caludo de pollo was amazing. Not even spicy. Definitely will be back
Have had the fajitas on several occasions and it’s pretty good for cheaper fajitas. Rice and beans are good and meat is fairly well seasoned cut into small pieces
