Seventh Street Cafés, St Joseph MO

Was told to try 7th Street Cafe by my son. My wife and I tried it one afternoon and ordered the fish taco special with soup. After ordering, we saw a few other menu items that looked interesting including the stuffed waffle. The fish tacos were delicious. I rarely like the fried fish option but it was crispy and tasty and perfect, even with lettuce instead of traditional cabbage, it worked. The pot pie soup was amazing.
Upon a return visit the stuffed waffle was so good and the club on croissant with chicken, broccoli soup was delicious. I assume the gentleman at the counter is the owner because he appears to love his job and is enthusiastic about the place, food and assistance in helping with your choice. Great place. So glad it's here.

Driving through St Joseph after our grandsons football game and found this wonderful place for lunch. Food was fresh and delicious, cute cafe atmosphere and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

Terrific food, had the breakfast burrito, stuffed waffles and biscuits and gravy. Everything was hot, fresh and tasted great! Lunch menu looks equally delicious!

I took the wife there for lunch today. We were presently surprised. We both had the turkey cajun sandwich with potato salad on the side. They make their own homemade bread. Everything was so fresh. If you're looking for a place to have a quick lunch, great food, great service. Try this place out.

I absolutely love this place! The food is excellent, friendly staff, great service. Good atmosphere. I had no idea this place was even a thing until I got a gift card for Christmas for this Cafe. I went and spent my gift card and I've went back every week since then. If you haven't tried Seventh Street Cafe then it's something you should definitely do! You won't be disappointed.
