Shake Shack Country Club Plaza, Kansas City MO

We were at the Plaza checking out the Christmas lights and just had to try it. I ordered a cheeseburger and chocolate shake. Had to wait about 15 minutes which was a little long for a cheeseburger but it happens. The cheeseburger was decent. Not very big but tasty. I wouldn't go out of my way to get a burger from there. If I was near a shake Shack I would get a burger to eat.

The food was pretty tasty. The staff was all nice and helpful. It was kind of slow and the bathrooms were kinda messy. It was busy and they were working hard. I'd certainly return.

I was visiting Kansas city for couple of days, first time at Shake Shack, disappointed with the service, first day they missed items I ordered, second day I went told them they had missed items on the previous nights order, the girl at the counter had no apologies and looked not so happy with the customer being there interrupting her conversation with the colleagues. The burger was good but compared to in/out and culver's the customer service or lack there of from this shake shack was pathetic.

Overpriced for the quantity of food. $8+ for a chicken sandwich with wilted lettuce and a chicken tender. It took up half the small-ish bun. Not worth the hype. Do yourself a favor and order a chicken sandwich from a mom-and-pop instead.

Food is good but the Plaza location is SO much more expensive then the one in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This isn't something we'll be able to afford to do regularly like we did over seas. Manager and workers are very friendly and store very clean.

Very poor service. Forgot to tell us they were out of what ice cream we ordered after waiting for 30 minutes standing right in front of them and the employees were very rude. Didn’t bother apologizing

Delicious. The shack burger is good but those cheese fries are out of this world! I love that you can have your burger wrapped in lettuce instead of bread at no extra cost. Definitely worth a visit.

They took my money to check if it was counterfeit after I order my food I seen other people pay and they did not check there’s for counterfeit, I waited 45 minutes for my food and people was getting they food before me and they came off me then once I got my food it was cold never again I go to this restaurant also the cook the did not have no hair net on at all

Super greasy. Service was fine. Timeliness and cleanliness were great. Chicken nuggest were piping hot and dripping grease!

Food and service were good. The atmosphere is awesome since it's in the plaza, but wow was it expensive. I got a single meat burger with fries and a small drink and it was almost $20. While my food was good I just can't justify going back here when I can get similar (if not better) food at someplace like Freddy's or Culver's. If they lowered their prices or offer a combo meal that overall made what I got a little cheaper I would possibly come back. Until then I'll head to someplace like Burger Fi if I want to spend almost $20 on a burger and fries. At least then I will have more bang for my buck.

Meat in sandwich was overcooked and lacked flavor! Shake was ok though. Enjoyed the exterior seating as we were able to eat on the plaza and enjoy the KC summer evening!

Usually used to love this place and the employeees but it seems in the last few months the employees there do not care whatsoever for cleanliness. I witnessed a young child licking not only the windwo but also the window shade chain, and stick two table numbers in his mouth.i informed the cashier who just nodded and didnt even move. She didnt seem to care to clean something that was contaminated with germs evem when directly asked to by a patron. The thought of the shake shack employees not keeping a clean store makes me question their sanitising and handwashing practises. I literally didnt eat my order as i was sick to my stomach at the thought of someone's dirty hands or touching my food. Probably will not be back To this location.

I wanted to be impresses due to all the reviews buy was not. My overall experience was not good. We went to the Plaza Art fair put our order in waited 20 + minuets only to have our food given to a non paying customer off the street. I kept telling the server that the food they were giving away was mine to no avail, even the customers behind me tried to tell the server this. Never got to try and will never try. Horrible service

Highly recommended so I was super disappointed. Overcooked, super greasy burger. Paid $1.25 for avocado and there was about a 1” piece. So, overcooked, greasy and overpriced. Whew! A trifecta of unhappiness.

Great service. Monday night football on TV. And the chocolate birthday shake is amazing! Can't say to much for the shroom burger. Maybe I should have read the menu a lil better cause I thought it was a burger with some mushrooms! Oops. I ate it though.

Coming from NY I am probably biased since this place bring back memories but I was super excited when this one arrived at the Plaza. I have always loved the burgers and crinkle fries. I usually carryout since I live so close and have never had a problem with my order. The staff has also always been really friendly.

Had a great burger and fries. I was surprised. I assumed it was like other burgers places but I had a very tasty burger. Also the crinkle fries is a must.

Just generic food. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t spectacular for the price. Chicken sandwich was small. More like a strip on a bun. The herb Mayo was excellent, but still didn’t justify the pricing. Lemonade was good, but the basic “please, no ice” was ignored. Fries were lukewarm at best,

The food is great and the shakes are amazing. The line gets really long tho, and I think they could benefit from the kiosks that other locations have.

I still think it's a bit overpriced for what you get, but I would come back if I were to crave it.

Only thing I would change is to have a self ordering system or kiosk.
