Shangri-La Rehab & Living Center reviews
14It's awful.horrible place. Do not be cruel and put family here! Do not take the chance they killed my mother she was there three and a half months during that time she broke her hip by falling off the bed the day she came home she fractured her tailbone because they were not watching her a week later she broke her foot going out the side door cuz no one was watching eureka half ago she still had the same sore on her back that she had coming in three in months ago and it had gotten to infected in that was what killed her that source should have been tailed it wasn't better because of their neglect please do not put your family here if you want to see them live longer.
Working at Shangri La is like working with family!
We laugh together, we cry together and we lift each other up, like a family!
I have been at Shangri -La for a year now. We have great staff that are very caring. 2 maintenance men who are fixing us up real nice. New dietary staff, the food is awesome.
I work in the rehab department at ShangriLa and enjoy coming here each day to treat my patients. The team here is always willing and open to take education from therapy team to make improvements to help our patients reach there goals.
I am a resident of Shangri-la and I love making flowers and different items for the staff who I love
Excellent care and caring staff. This place focuses on patients and patient care rather than advertising and shiny things like many other facilities. A place mom could go.
I can't say enough about Shangri-La. They saved my sister's life. She was abused and starved. This facility has made her more alive and vibrant. She smiles now and is being treated like a human being.
Been with the company for 2 years great place to work with a good team, with wonderful staff and nurses
I have worked at Shangri- La going on 5 years and is a great place to work, we have a good team and the nursing staff takes care of the residents real well.
I enjoy working here in this family-like atmosphere. This team works extremely hard to take care of our residents who are our extended family. There is such a great opportunity to learn different roles and develop skills. When I started here, I planned to help for a few months. Almost 13 years later, this is home away from home and I can't imagine being anywhere else.
They took great care of my grandma when she broke her hip. The staff was lovely and caring.
I work at Shangri-La the building is not the prettiest in the world but the people in it are good people in particular the activity staff they go over and beyond to make sure the residents have extremely good holidays and fun things to do throughout the week they're always doing something with them.
Shangri-La Rehab & Living Center has been a wonderful support for my family (especially my dad). My dad went in the center with limited mobility and inarticulate speech, do to some previous obstacles he experienced. He as been there since August and in six months he has made so much progress. He is beginning to be more independent and seems more like himself. The staff is very nice and helpful, in which they are accommodating to all of his needs. Any questions I have, they answer in a timely fashion. I do not have any complaints and appreciate Shangri-La Rehab & Living Center immensely!
My mom has been in the facility for a little over a month now. In that time, she's had a massive heart attack. The staff has taken extremely good care of her! They went with her to a cardiologist appointment because we couldn't make it. The lady that escorted her to her appointment stood up for her at the appointment. This is so important to our family! None of us ever want to have to put our loved ones in a nursing home, but we can't always give them the best care at home. I appreciate the staff at Shangri-La!
Thank you,
