I had the half order of biscuits and gravy and a small breakfast. It was very good. I would like the sausage to have stayed on the grill a little bit more, as I like it just a little crisp on the outside. Mine was good, but I must say that I was jealous of my friends double stack pancake that were as big as the plate. They looked fluffy and absolutely delicious making me want to go back some other time to try it. He enjoyed it. My wife likes her French toast.

They have great busicuits and gravy but you have to be there early or they run out. They also have fantastic tenderloins that are huge. I would recommend this place for sure. I think the hours are 645am to 2 pm and then they close for the day.

Home cooked just like my Mom. Nit greasy. Was on vacation so we ate there everyday. Awesome service for us 5 ladies having fun.

The meal came out and everything was perfect. Everything was hot (very unusual). Very very good! I would highly recommend Shirley's Diner to anyone looking for a great old fashion breakfast!

Visited on Memorial Day, you'd expect staff to anticipate more people and staff appropriately.
Two people working (one orders, one kitchen), several people left while waiting, no one received their food in less than an hours time, and family members/friends of the business came in, received their food (for free by the way) and left all while we still waited for our food. Would not visit again even on a non-holiday! Visit a better local diner than this one that actually cares about time and customers.

Last summer we tried going inside to order a full order of biscuits and gravy several different weekends. Owner always says “I can’t give you a full order because I need to make sure I have plenty for other customers”. WHY SELL THE FULL SIZE THEN? How about ya make some more Shirley? Money is money. Serve the customer who shows up first. If they want 2 full orders of biscuits and gravy, just sell it to them! And make more if needed, sheesh. We went in this morning, 1st weekend back at the lake this year, and guess what. Good ol Shirley said we couldn’t have a full order of biscuits and gravy so we just turned around and walked out. Never going back.

First of all we can not hire new help. We stayed opened while MA’S Restaurant was closed due to their employees having covid. We did the best we could. Finding help to work is very hard right now. It is a shame that people leave bad reviews in hopes to hurt a business.

Nice little small place for the locals! The food is made fresh to order but it's good diner food. Give it a shot next time you drive by.

When we used to frequent this area Shirley's was a regular old haunt of ours.
This is the kind of place that we all enjoyed going to that serves honest food and the service is pretty good.
This place its not trying to be something that it is not, we enjoy eating at characterfull places and this ticked all the boxes for me.

This was what l call a cheap eats place where you can get a good breakfast lunch or dinner for around $5-6.
Weve had and tried the breakfasts such as the buritto's and the burgers with cfincle cut fries.

Highly recommended to try this one out.

We love Shirley's! Im from the area but moved away to be closer to other family when I was younger. I come visit a few times a year and I always come to Shirley's with my grandpa and great uncle for breakfast on saturdays. Shirley is the sweetest and wittiest woman ever. The food is delicious! Very home town feel!

Look, its not fancy but its clean and good. Shirley's is a throwback to the drive in dinner. You may wait a while for your food, but it will be hot, fresh and good. Best part, very inexpensive!

The omlet was great, staff were friendly and my coffee was always full. Took a full hour for breakfast for two, but they do warn you to be patient as nothing is pre-made so keep that in mind.

The only reason I am giving this place a 1 is because the food is decent however the customer service is worse than horrible. The owner decides who she let's do call in orders and she decides which customers get to order what food. If she has othet customers in store she won't allow you to just order what you want cuz there won't be enough for new customers. She gets onto you if you share with your child instead of ordering them food.

I will say the prices are good, but the service is horrible! My family and I went in and ordered 5 whole orders of biscuits and gravy and were told that we can only get 4 half orders as the order would “cause her to loose customers, ” however we would be paying the same amount. We let that go and moved past it. The next time we came the 16 year old in our family had a question about the amount of biscuits we were aloud to get and could not get 1 word out because she was rudely interrupted SEVERAL TIMES, we came back about 2 weeks later and the 16 year old walked in and whilst the dinner was packed Shirley herself cussed out this child, with even younger children in the lobby! Shirley is rude, disrespectful, she is NOT honest, and she has no regard for other people or there children in this so claimed “family environment. ”

We love coming to "hometown" places like this! Amazing service and great food. If we're ever in the area again we'll be sure to stop by.

Horrible Service The Woman Who Knowns It Is rude And Doesnt Care About Anyone That Comes In Tells Big Groups To Leave Because She Doesnt Have The Time To Serve Them Also She Yells At Customers For Just Opening The Door I Should Also Add We Have Been There Several Times But No More Enough Is Enough On Top Of Horrible Service And Getting Yelled At The prices Have Gone Up Evrrytime We Have Gone In I Recommend If You Want Great Food And Service You Go To Dana's In Branson West Great Staff And Great Food Always

Inexpensive and quality eats. My first time there. Looked like a favorite to the locals too! Shirley actually works there. I wish they would get their pest control through Terminix so I could eat there more often!

Always wonderful food. Shirley made me the best burger and fries today. Excellent service and very friendly. Highly recommend any time of the year.

The good was absolutely perfect! It is all made from scratch and fresh. It isn't too expensive especially when you get the quality of food like you do here!
