Shoal Creek Community Church reviews
5The young girl singing at this church is INSANE. Highly highly talented and will give you cold chills. The band in general very talented also. So awesome! Staff here is very welcoming and the hospitality is a total 5. Message is usually good too. Complimentary coffee is a plus. Definite 5 star!
Great staff working there. We had an experience with their “Parents night out” event where we had the church staff watch our baby while my husband and I went on a date. It was a great idea to organize that. They also offer marriage groups.
I'm kind of old fashioned when it comes to churches and this place is definitely not a traditional church. It felt more like I was being intertained than getting what I'd typically expect from a church. Wasn't bad though, and if you like a laid back church atmosphere, where it's more like a show than church, you'll love this place. The leader, Roy, is a very good speaker, and the singers & actors are good at what they do, hence the 4 stars.
This is a truly excellent church for contemporary Christianity. They cover modern, relevant topics and feature great music, videos, etc to enhance the experience. I'd highly recommend Shoal Creek to anyone anywhere. With SSCC you will find a very friendly and accepting community.
“A church for people who dislike going to church, ” Shoal Creek is deep on substance (message) and light on form (custom / parade). It is the opposite of Catholic mass. At Shoal Creek, the emphasis is on Christ’s message, and on learning how to live better lives through discipleship. That’s my understanding of what they consistently do here. An amazing and unique spiritual journey instead of an empty ritualistic box check. Must see it to understand what must be understood.
