Shoe Carnival, Independence MO

I bought my past several pairs of shoes for my family and I from here. There is a massive selection (even my husband found shoes he loves and he hasn't bought new shoes in YEARS because "nothing ever fits right AND looks good").

Usually there's a sale on something; if not, the prices are still pretty reasonable.

The layout is pretty intuitive so it's pretty easy to find whatever you need. Definitely check out the clearance section! I got a great deal on some very comfortable Sketches.

No matter what I go to this store for it’s a HASSLE AND A HALF. Please stop shopping at shoe carnival to save your sanity. It is literally the worst shopping experience you could ever put yourself through.

Prices don't seem to be quite as aggressive as in the past but we found a couple pairs to meet our needs. Staff were nice and store was clean.

The staff member had their head barely out the door and was smoking! My dad died of lung cancer, I'd rather not walk through your smoke!

I was not too thrilled about the employees finally me and my husband around the store like we were going to steal something just because of how we looked, he was fresh from work and I had had a rough day with the baby so we didn't look the best I for example had on sweats and a large hoodie for comfort
word of advice to he public: don't judge a book by its cover, you never know what another person is going through

The staff is always pleasant, they have a large selection of sneakers, boots, high heels, slides, sandals, etc.for kids and adults. There is a wide variety of styles so everyone is sure to find something they love.

Nestor was literally the best! He was very friendly, kind and assisted me with all might needs, as well as the man (taller with beard) that was by the front door. They made my experience great and I’m super thankful. Thanks guys!

There is no sales representative on the floor to help find things. Had to go up front and ask cashier. Nothing has changed.

A big selection of shoes and they're always having a sale of some sort. I like the fact that it's not too busy and I'm able to browse without a lot of people in the store. Friendly staff are available if I need help or have a question. An enjoyable experience for me.

This is a great store. They have dress shoes as well as shoes for sports and sporty looking styles. They have a large selection of up to date shoes. The staff is friendly. The store is well stocked with lots of sales.
They let you spin the wheel for discounts.
The parking lot and area are safe.

I was impressed! After visiting several shoe stores looking for steel toe work shoes, not boots I was about to give up. I couldn't believe the wide selections they have in stock! Real leather, name-brand steel toes for 130 bucks! Can't beat that price anywhere in town! They even had steal toe tennis shoes! Next time I need shoes, I'm coming here first! Staff was very helpful, and courteous! Several cashiers on hand too! I highly recommend!

Bad service at the check out. When told the cashier to hurry up, he was mouthy and told me that he can get me escorted out of the place. What a shame!

The people in the store was exceptionally nice. My pet peeve is when i go into a store if i don't know where something is at someone that works there, comes up and ask if i can help you. That's what i look for in a shopping experience.

Staff were friendly and courteous. Sales were just on "Bogo" items. Was not a huge selection to choose from for mens wear.

Don't look for wide athletic shoes here, they are few and hard to find. People were friendly. Out of a carnival of shoes, impossible to find wide ones that were exciting.

Lots of shoes, prices don't seem awful. Great selection of work boots. Lovecraftian eldritch abominations seem to be at a minimum in and out of the store. Brandon helped me and was super cool

This is where I go to get shoes large selection the staff is good and has a great return policy although I have not had any issues to have to return shoes.

My daughter was looking for some low cut ankle boots, with a low heel. Its fall season, seem like your boot selection should be stocked. I guess she'll have to look online, or drive back out to the store, after the Thanksgiving holiday. Oh well

Bought some shoes today with one being the display, Brandon offered to clean the shoe for me that had a dirt mark on it. He was great and it was really appreciated!

The employees are always nice and helpful here but if u have bigger kids not a good place to come for kids the shoes are definitely affordable but they never have the sizes I need. I'm always disappointed when I leave from here and not much of a selection for big kids shoes either.
