Signal Food Store, Mountain View MO

Can’t say enough good things about the two ladies working tonight. Helped me after a really rough night and didn’t even ask for anything.

All but 3 posts are 1+ years old, here is why. Aparently NO ONE working at Hanks Chicken has been trained to do their job properly and then when done IMPROPERLY, no one knows how to issue a REFUND, because I refuse to wait Another 20 Minutes for my PROMISED FRESH CHICKEN STRIPS. Nope. Hour and a half old strips is what I received, I even drove back.to.the store. ALSO, they layer FRESH product over OLD PRODUCT. DONT GET OKRA. Calling Health Dept 2mro. DONE WITH SIGNAL!

We stopped here on the way home, from Nashville. I tried to stop at this place on the way up, but missed by turn, and didn't have time to turn around. I was really impressed with how large this store is, it's huge! There is also a subway inside that was open pretty late, which is pretty neat since there's no place to get food, when we were in the area. The bathrooms and the entire gas station was really clean, like super clean, the soda fountain was not out of flavor, and the staff was really nice.

I just seen this lady who said she owns the store came out with 2 other people yelling at a group of people in an RV who had unfortunately broke down early this morning. They tried explaining to her that they were sorry and that they were waiting on 1 part and then they would be on their way. She told them after they had already spoken to a cop, that she was going to call the cops on them and have them towed. This is ridiculous, I can't believe how people treat other people in a time like this. Never again will I come there.

Poorly stocked merchandise, the one person working couldn't be bothered to check if they had what I was looking for.

Definitely recommend no matter if you are just stopping in for good CLEAN fuel of which you can start pumping and pay inside at your convenience instead of having to walk in and pay first! (they have both unleaded 87% 89% and diesel, along with easy to access diesel pumps for larger 18wheelers. Inside the employees are all extremely friendly and ready to help. There is also a Subway and Hanks chicken on sight which are both awesome, I eat there often before class! There are booths inside for sit down service, or if you're in a rush their shelves are full of any kind of snacks you might need. Wonderful store! Open ALL HOURS!

All the kitchen staff wears their mask like a chin strap. It's bad enough going in there with 98% of the customers are all maskless mouth breathers. You'd think after 2 employees at that store got they'd make more precautions. Wearing a mask is a IQ test at this point. The kitchen staff at signal.dumb as rocks.

This is my usual travel stop from KY to OK. One day on my trip I started having car trouble. Cheryl was absolutely the sweetest helping me find someone to look at my car. She bought my daughter Cheez Itz and some chocolate while we waited. I will never forget how nice everyone was when they helped me. Thank you again for your help. God bless ️
