Silver Spoon Cafe, Kansas City MO

I had the biscuits and gravy here, and wasn't too bad, though could have used more flavor though. In quality of service, it is one of those service your self restaurants so no waiters are around to help, the the main cashier we had was nice. Atmosphere was lacking though unfortunately, and the lack of people did not help. I'm sure some of the other food was good, but mine was disappointing.

Hands down the best quick service café with excellent food and even better service! Love this place and it's been a frequent spot for breakfast or lunch for several years.

We liked this place, very affordable and a home feeling. Nit far from the downtown area, and in walking distance to many businesses. We will go again.

Absolutely delicious breakfast. The staff of very courteous. Everything made to order and brought to table. I love breakfast so I ordered both specials of the day.

I normally check. But I forgot and here I am eating my food out of Styrofoam. Don't y'all know plastic is killing the planet.

Loved this place! I had the veggie omelette, it was a little greasy but I poured it out, I also got a nice size container of fruit and one of cottage cheese, coffee, a bagel and an English muffin for a little over $20.

Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Slightly disappointed with the quality of the food. When ordering pay attention to price. I ordered the western omelet 6.95, added a coffee and English muffin with a final tab of 14.45. Just felt bland eating out of a styrofoam box and plastic utensils.

Was pretty busy when I went yesterday. Everything was clean, coffee was good, breakfast was cheap. The food was good and prepared in a timely manner. They forgot my uncle's pancake, but it didn't take them long to fix the mistake.

I use to work downtown and myself with co workers would go for the lunch specials. My most favorite was the spinach cheese pasta on Wednesdays. Lawwwwd I miss that I now live on the eastcoast and still remember the pasta meal. The breakfast was delicious as well with good prices. If I come back to kc I will most definitely come on a Wednesday to get my beloved spinach cheese pasta I miss this spot.

Great place to get a quick breakfast on the GO! Especially if you are located in some of the hotels around.

Haven’t had their lunch / dinner. Breakfast is really good! Come sour fast and hot! Ate here back to back mornings while staying downtown

Great food, great prices! Menu prices were updated to match inflation, which is to be expected, but the prices are still pretty good. 10/10 would recommend

Great food, great specials. Street parking but it's downtown so expected. Price is reasonable. Ate her a few times while visiting.

Great place for the basic breakfast and lunch items. One of the cheapest places in downtown for breakfast. Clean and uncluttered. It seems that at least for breakfast all items are made after your order has been placed.

What diner isn't open on weekends? This one. I guess people that work during the week just aren't worthy of the food

Decent made to order breakfast in downtown Kansas City. They lose a star for serving everything in styrofoam but probably got the 4 stars for being one of the few places that had a simple breakfast walking distance from my hotel at 10am. I struggled to find breakfast in downtown KC for some reason. Everything was either microwave sandwiches/burritos at coffee shops, or over thought brunch-like items at places that stopped serving breakfast at 10am for no apparent reason.
